YAY RUMMER!!!! Many many congrats, I hope now he's here everything will go as close to perfectly as parenting gets

I also lit a candle and asked for some good luck, so we'll see how things go. Hopefully we'll all get a good dose of it!

Rummer.... no wonder your head is a bit of a mush... is Hubby and DD ok?

I hope you have had a lovey cuppa and a biscwit.. Plenty of rest now... and don't go over doing things...

'Super Squeezy Hugs to you Rummer'

Hubby has informed me there is another Huge leak in the big caravan up the ranch... and he didn't even put a cover over it... so now the bedding is wet.... and has been for a while... silly plonker ( this is very mild compared to what I was calling him last night)

I aske him weeks ago to check on the caravan... and he did, and he didn't tell me water was coming in, into the bedroom part... flipping men!!!!..

Now that I am slowly clearing out this house.. ( its a total nightmare) instead of taking stuff up the tip etc.. I am going to put crap into boxes and put into the farm auction at the end of Feb... even if I get a £1 a box... it is suprising what sells there..lol... so will have to start collecting the flat-ish cardboard fruit boxes from the supermarkets....

Even going to take the old plastic tubing with the nipple drip drinkers that were from the ranch.....

So pleased that Rumlet is here and the waiting's over for you, Rummer.:j I bet he's adorable. Here's hoping you both receive the excellent care we know our hospitals can provide, especially the baby units.

We had about 30 candles going last night, though I'll admit it was accidental, as we had folks here for supper. It was one last bash before we remove the Christmas tree and the remaining decorations today.

It's going to feel a bit drab for a week or two now, but hey, Choille Day is only...er....9 days hence. Thinking of choille, perhaps we should light a few more candles again tonight.

It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Not usual not to hear from Alfie.

    I hope she's ok.

Not bad at all here. The place that always floods locally was mentioned on the local radio news this morning which is a bit like saying their are showers in April IMO. Anyone expecting to get through their is a cotton head. We often have a 'big puddle' at one end of our road. It was there on Saturday but not this morning. Also, the road to the train station often floods, but it was ok.

    Train ticket up of course.

Congratulations Rummer, hope you are both well, take care of yourself.

Our flood warning passed without incident thank goodness, and today it is cold, but lovely and bright.

Hope everyone is safe, some places have been hit really badly by the weather.

Just sat here waiting for the plumber to arrive, our blinking toilet won't stop flushing. Still I suppose thats better than it not flushing at all lol !!
  • Yay! Fantastic news that Rumlet has arrived :j

Rummer, do take care of yourself and hugs to you all - you, the little one, DH and DD......sure all will be fine with the care provided by our excellent baby units :) xxx

So unimportant compared to rummer's news, Alex's roof and the whereabouts of missing dreamers, but I'm all in a quandary about pain colours again.

Last night I had decided on a dark chocolateley colour...this morning I feel braver............

Oh what are you thinking of? We have a deep purple feature wall in our living room and dragons blood in our hallway both of which I love, strong colours in the right space are amazing!
