BD.. We had a rough quote for wooden windows, they wernt hard wood they were 'pressure treated' or something,, and it was practically double the price.
I haven't got a clue how to photo shop, so feel free to save my pic as, and photo shop away..and post them here so I can see lol..
I was thinking light oak, but I can see your point about how a white window would make the room lighterWork to live= not live to work0 -
I think some companies are doing colours too?
I'd go white if wood wasn't an option.
Not as 'romantic' but classic, less prone to fashion changes possibly.
Similarly, even though I love coloured woodwork, we chose an off white for outside here, as its more classic, if the paint lasts as long as manufacturers suggest that's a good choice I think.0 -

Oh, if I must! :rotfl:
I can't really get the perspective right and the resolution is too low to let me paint in stuff properly, but this might help.0 -
i do like the white against the stone work and as they are quite small windows i think they look very cottagy..........0

Dave, can you do one for CTC with Victorian sort of panes? Four bigger ones? See how that looks? The dimensions might work a treat there?
Sorry to be cheeky......:o:D0 -

Shape & materials wise, they are the same as my BiL's original windows on his barn, though he has red brick at the lintel and sills. He's gone for white upvc.
Mind you, the council weren't happy, just as they haven't been happy about much of the build....till BiL reminded them that all the properties in the lane had upvc.0 -
could you add a white stable door as well, or even a sage green one please?? LOL
That's a handy bit of software..
Alfie... yes that room can be yours....But I don't know if we need that end wall needs to be re-built yet...Work to live= not live to work0 -

Bigger ones, eh? :rotfl: My dimensions are all wrong?:(
I keep saying size doesn't matter......:p
But you're right, we should look at the most appropriate style...:)0 -
