A belated Happy New Year to folks.
Rummer - keep safe and hugs to your family.
Managed to avoid the worst of the weather before Christmas; got south before the downpour closed the rail line, just.
DS decided to take the long route home as the riverside road was rather deep on the way to collect me. We drove up a 4" stream with water pouring off the fields out of the bases of the stone walls into the road.
Boxing Day was definately the best weather-wise so we were out in the garden. Pruned the fruit trees and bushes.
Came back later than expected and did very little for a couple of days; simply stayed in yesterday while the gale blew over.
Midnight was interesting; lots of fireworks but some chose the quieter option and sent up chinese lanterns. At one point there were over a dozen heading northeast, a couple of which downed in the park and one in next door's garden.
Might try and get onto the plot at the weekend to clean up the mess; last time I was there the neighbour's small glass house was in my plot. At least the frame was; the broken glass was strewn all over the place.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Good luck Rummer and Rumlet x0

and people :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh no.
Both suck.
BUT, I know you attract great people to you too. ( and weirdos like DH and I:rotfl:). That CTC, is she halfway normal?
Darling one cheer up. I know the next year is peachy.
Also DH and I have talked about it, and that thing you asked, we'd definitely do it for you if you need us to. We just need to be helped with where and how.0
