Miserable weather last night and I gave in to temptation and lit a fire

All family congregating at a hotel tonight for DS1's wedding tomorrow, so driving down past Portsmouth laden with suits, cases, pressies and people, including the groom who was sent back home to allow the women to do all the last minute girly things unhindered by mere men.

There are some works of art being made on the cakes front that would win British bake off! Pity I havent got a sweet tooth

Rained here overnight, too. This morning it's just sort of nothingy - grey, miserable but not actually doing anything.

Enjoy the day tomorrow, rhiwie. :beer:I surprised myself last year by actually enjoying DD1's wedding, once the service & speech were out of the way.

As Father of the Groom, you don't get to speak first, which makes nicking jokes (or even whole speeches!) from the internet somewhat dodgy. That's where DDs FiL went wrong!:rotfl:

No other wedding on the horizon. DD2's young man has to keep her as a 'special friend,' or risk being cut off from funds for uni. Many bridges to cross....or burn. :eek:

We have weather here. Not sure what kind yet, but there's room for improvement.
