What's the point in having high-end specs along with a low-end screen?
It really makes the Z a pain to use, but I'm going to soldier on with it until whenever the next iPhone is released.
TBH I never noticed the screen as being great, but other people looking at the phone do, the viewing angle thing..... it does have a wide viewing angle and picures are crisp and realistic, if you do look at the screen straight on, then the reds are more intense, so much so it seems exaggerated, screens on some other handsets seem too intense and the colours are so bold, they do not look realistic, another thing to test for on somescreens is if the white (often used on web pages) is white or a shade of blue, a common trait with amoled
