My children's princess dresses are made of a similar material and often get mucky. A wash on the delicates cycle gets them looking like new"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
The dressing up clothes at work end up filthy & say 'Do not wash'... They go in the washing machine on the same setting as everything else & come out fine... Saying that, if it were mine I'd use a lingerie bag & delicates cycle.
Does it match the rest of the outfit? It could be worth washing it all together in case the colour fades slightly.0 -
Thanks for the fast replies! I'll put it on a delicates wash later on.
I don't have a lingerie bag. Is there something else I can use?..is it dirt from the road? might be worth rubbing a bit of washing-up liquid into the marks before you wash it.
I wish I knew! Haha!
I think I'll rub some washing-up liquid on anyway. It can't hurt right?Trying hard to money save....0 -
You could use a pillow case but be careful with the washing up liquid it its going in the machine , the suds produced might overflow from the machine..#6 of the SKI-ers Club :j

Give us an update when it's washed, - did the unidentified grey-black splodges come out? Did your washing-machine start spewing soap bubbles :rotfl:0

It depends on what you'll do with it if you don't wash it... I had a dry clean only real suede jacket mother in law had given to me when it didn't fit her any more, with the lining needing a good repair - after it got seriously dog slobbered, I did wash it on delicates, as I wasn't going to pay to have it dry cleaned - it came up ok.0 -
