Yes, they will lose the mucus plug as birthing is imminent.

    Any news??!!!!

My cat was due Saturday(we think-she brought a tome home 9 weeks 3 days ago and proceeded to role around and groom for half an hour after he tried to follow her into the house)

she is massive, she has been hunting around for a nest and we keep putting her in a box, I moved it into our wardrobe and shut one of the doors and she got in and started suckling and scenting it.I have just gone upstairs and she is now in my sons chest of drawers!surely she can't give birth in there????
  • She is v restless in the last hour she doesn't know where to turn!
V vocal aswel "talking" to me bless her and wants lots of attention.

Strange how they go for children's bedrooms isn't it.

Good luck tonight, hope it all goes smoothly. I don't think anyone has mentioned it yet, but make sure there's a litter tray nearby and that she knows where it is, she'll need to pee after the birth but won't want to go too far. My little lady jumped on DD's bed and did the biggest pee I've ever seen, I really should have put the litter tray in the room instead of just outside the door.

  • Well guys she had one at midnight and the other at quarter past!
    Only had 2!
One all black and one black white and brownie.
She did so well didn't make a sound when she was having them and they were both cleaned up in minutes.
She v content and they are both suckling at the mo.
She even managed to have a poo in the tray in the kitchen at some point after we went to bed bless her.
    Is 2 kittens normal??
