  • Didnt post yesterday because i spent sooo much and it got me down :( feel like all my hard work this month was undone!

Got dd her school uniform, shoes, pencil case lunch bag flask etc.

Then had to take the cat to the vets as she'd hurt her leg and also did a food shop.....

All to the tune of around £200! Paid on the s4nt4nder cash back credit card, so wont be paid off until next month.

Wanted to get all the school bits ready incase baby makes an early appearance, just didnt expect such an expensive day :( and didnt budget properly for it all.

Had a cheaper day today and only spent £1.60 in a soft play which my
mother paid entry for, and bought food. I just bought a slush for dd.

School holidays are going to definately be a challenge whilst debt busting.

Oh nearly forgot i got £110 expenses back which i wasnt expecting yet, and paid it towards t3sco cc, have updated my sig. Mini payments have added up x
Still here..... but working on that!
  • Just been looking at my budget and was expecting to have around £500 leftover this month and at the minute we have around £480, not bad :)

Hopefully i can pay some money off the tesco cc but dint want to empty the bank account until i know how much i'm getting paid..

  • copied and pasted from aaa thread!!

Oh I've been a bit rubbish at posting.... sorry!! (hangs head in shame!!)

Pay day today, but did very well last month with over £500 left as budgeted!!
Did very well last month, got rid of 2 overdrafts, cancelled one, and paid over £300 off the last cc. Kept the one od as ive just started maternity leave and am a bit worried about how we'll cope on statutory maternity pay

Need to work on this months budget and see how much I can throw at the cc!

Havent had any sfd's but not been extravagant either, just bought things in small bits. Oh and I got £80 worth of t3sc0 shopping for £50 (My budget!) , felt like a crazy coupon lady..... only went there because i had vouchers!!

Taking dd to swimming lesson this morning, shouldnt spend, fridays usuall y end up fairly frugal as my mother quite often treats dd!

Got plenty of food in, and slow cooked a chicken yesterday for tea, then realised i was going out for food, so tonights tea is sorted! Ended up with a free meal last night as the service was sooo bad!!!

As for baby, have another scan in 2 weeks to check babys size.... 2 and a half weeks to go!!

  • Budget done for the month, was really disapointed with this months pay thought i'd get some of the huge amount of tax i paid last month back, but didnt :'( anyway the budget is sorted and after bills ive left us :
    £200 groceries
    £120 petrol
    £20 school dinners
    £100 essentials/others
    £44 gymnastics

Leaves us with just over £1000 left at the end of the month after bills. I have included a payment for the new car, however i'm not sure if that will actually start in oct. if it does all the better, ill pay it off the cc.
Going to b a challenging month with a new baby due at the beginning of it, but should be a bit cheaper as its no longer summer hols, i wont feel like dragging a newborn here there and everywhere.
