And if someone else got hurt in the meantime? It is not about being 'weak', it is about keeping a level head and not making things ten times worse.

Cowards. Anyone who sits by and doesnt stop this behaviour. My head would be perfectly level, as i dragged him kicking a screaming to the door.

And what if someone got injured in the process?

You don't sound level headed to me, you sound like a liability.

Well you dont know me, but you sound like you would just sit there, listening to this racist piece of garbage abuse 2 15 year olds and do nothing to stop it.

You want to live in a civilised world, be prepared to defend it.

If someone got hurt, well that's life, i'd feel bad for them, but that's that. Certainly i'd do my best to make sure the only one to be injured was the racist loudmouth.

I disagree with Dunroamin, being drunk doesn't excuse his behaviour. (Especially as your feelings seem to have been validated by the bus driver's sympathetic look).

Hang on - I never said it excuses his behaviour!

I have already said what I would do, I would ensure people were safe.

You seem to think that you causing physical violence is ok, 'that's life'. Double standards much?

The usual !!!!-houses just sat there as usual,...What the hell is wrong with people that no-one said a thing....
I am sick to death of people thinking it is not their problem..It is!
We are all part of society and not getting involved is why these things continue to happen...
IF you are a man and hear these things then you should act like a bloody man and confront the people...That is what being a member of society means..
Looking the other way is a cowards trick....

Rant over...This gets my blood boiling..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

Actually I said I would tell him to Shut the _ up, and if he reacted (which i would hope he would) I would be happy to throw him off the bus. If the Bus driver fails in his duty of care, if other passengers cannot stand up for 2 children, and if this scum bag continues to get away with it, it wont be long until HE hurts someone. I'd much rather just take him out of the equation.

But how would you ensure they were safe, lets say he hits someone you going to step in? Why wait untik he's hit someone then?!

and how am i using double standards??!! That is life, you want to live quietly in a corner while scum walks all over your morals, you do that. Enjoy it

100% agree, and it doesnt even have to be a man

Look at the women at Woolwich, confronted armed killers. Good for them!

More people need to stand up and make themselves heard. But instead they'll whisper in the background, and then say 'next time i'll this' or 'if he'd done x, i'd of knocked him out' (2 hours after they leave the bus!)

THE ONLY EXCUSE - as far as i'm concerned, is if you have children with you yourself, you must ensure their sfety first. If you end up worse off because of this, someone needs to be looking after them

You said if someone got hurt due to you confronting the abuser 'well that's life' - just a few posts up if you cannot remember.

I would take the children away from the situation, that way no one comes to harm.

You come across as extremely aggressive. I am glad to say my idea of civilised society is exactly that, civilised.
