Love you all

have a great time savage, I hope the weather clears up for you. I hold myself fully responsible for the current weather, I just bought a bunch of summer clothes from ebay. Sorry everyone:o:A

I am fairly new to this site (about 6 weeks), I have found many peoples advice to be helpful and inspiring. As people have stated, people have a wide variety of problems and crisis to deal with and look to the good people of this site for that guidance and advice.
I am a prime example. I fall into the same catagory as many people on this site. I have been struggling with debt and have been going through various stages of worry and stress over some time now. It got to the point of hospitalising me with a heart condition (i'm only 24!!!).
After spilling all my problems and worries out, searching for the guidance and advice I needed, I found many people providing support and reassurance in my resolution of my debs. I would like to thank everyone who has provided this support and guidance, not just to me, but to everyone who has been in the same position.
It is with regret however, that I must say that I was dissappointed with the abuse from some members of this site. I was going through a stressful and worrying time (as many others have and may still be). These abusers do not realise how much confidence it takes to spill your life out to someone you have never met before. When posting my problems out, I was answered by many helpful people on here. I was however, subject to a lot of 'put down' and abuse from the small minority of members who do nothing but 'surf' threads looking at someone to have a pop at. This abuse was what made me end up in hospital.
I now have a heart monitor inserted to keep an eye on my condition and prevent any further instnces of this occurring again. It is quite sad when these abusers get some gratification knowing what they are doing to myself and others.
This site is a community where everyone helps everyone and someone should get on here 'live' and monitor these threads and posts to ensure no one else ends up feeling 'backed up' in a corner receiving abuse from others.
Once again, thanks to all you genuine people out there helping us all out with our predicaments. Keep up the good work and thank you all...Keep smiling...:rotfl::T0 -
Thats what happened on the Gambling Loopholes boards. We got 2 additional BG's to help the existing one. They were 2 who spend a lot of time on there and have a lot of knowledge so were good candidates. I know the BR is slightly different but I think the basics still apply.
Someone ask Martin suggesting it.0 -
why don't you add a poll?:A

I would be happy for Toto and wherediditallgo to be mods myself.
wherediditallgo first hand knowledge of the feelings involved and Totos detachmant but understanding of the subject would make a good balence
Hi Bart,
You've done a fine job here this afternoon you sexy little nocturnal mammal
I think wherediditallgo and Toto would both be fine candidates and I think you would be too; what better than a Bat to haunt (er I mean moderate) the night shift :rotfl:
How will we decide who is proposed and who is eligible to vote if we go for that option?
Would two mods be enough? I think it's a good idea to have a fair balance between the Bankrupt Brigade and the DFW Board; would four be more workable.
I'd like to propose southernscouser from the DFW Board; he's thick skinned enough to mistake for an elephant, he's an experienced MSE'er, he has an eloquent turn of phrase, and a sense of humour (ok, before anybody says it, I know it's an oxymoron for a Scouser to have all those positive qualities :rotfl: ).
I feel more than a light sense of relief; and that's not from the can of Stella on the desk

Personally I believe that mods should be impartial and therefore objective in their approach. Someone who has gone through BR like we have would probably be subjective and not keep the forum open. The last thing we want is censorship for its own sake. I fully agree that several comments have been, well, just made by lunatics who need to get a life, really. We do however have a free speech policy in this country and caution needs to be exercised to preserve that don't you think?BR 18 Oct 2006 Discharged 16 April 2007 :T0 -
