haha! HOK3Y! I couldn't possibly tell!!!!
You never know who might be reading!!! :rotfl::rotfl: Needless to say I felt a bit awkward the day after when meeting them in the office although it was only a dream!!:o
But . . . i just checked by the front door and we have received the letter I have been waiting for and the f&f offer has dropped from 1 grand to 750 quid! So on Monday OH will call them up to confirm details - i.e. definitely finalized and then make payment via their bank account details on online banking and BOOM one more PayDay loan closed!
Can't wait! Yay!!!!!
Time to send off more letters I think!!!!!
A good day! and yep - i think i might say yes to this guy who needs a website building - just hope they're asking for something reasonable!! :rotfl:
I've got that ruddy Yazz song in my head again!!!
time for a glass of wine to celebrate methinks!
hope everyone else is having a good evening?

Just popped by to say Hi...feel a little like I overheard something I shouldn't have! The beauty of the forum compared to say, a neighboring table in a restaurant is that I can rewind...if I didn't have to run off to bed that is! So, I hope your dreams are either even better or absent tonight, and thanks for making me welcome here today. **backs out slowly**:rotfl:0

you're welcome any time crazy_lady2009!!!!
You'll find after a while sometimes these diaries (especially mine) veer into areas that aren't exactly covered by the 'debt-busting' catchall!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
but whatever keeps us motivated, right?!!

To me its the human side and camaraderie of forums that help people the most. I love the life stories and empathy and kindnesses shown to posters. We're all here for same ends lets be kind and lets be friends.....oooohhh that rhymes lol'The Janus Illusion' # 240

Just catching up!
Fantastic news on the f&f offer :T one less creditor :T!
I haven't dreamed about co-workers but I have dreamed about my postman in the same way as you did your co-worker:rotfl::rotfl: even now I can't look at him without blushing
(he is pretty cute though and he's so nice & friendly
:rotfl:)
Well done on paying off what you have so far, you've done a fantastic job! My hubby sounds like your OH, even now when we're debt-free I still live as I did when paying off debts. I'd like to save up for a house now and DH thinks that now we're DF we have tonnes and tonnes of money to spend on rubbish. I struggle to get money out of him every month and he's always short on what we've agreed for the budgetit really is a struggle getting them on board! Oh well....'The only way is up...' (you've got that darned song in my head now after reading your diary :rotfl:)

Hi DFW321!!!!!
Lovely to see you virtually!
I'm glad I'm not the only one! haha! a postman - always good, can we class him as a man in uniform?!! :rotfl:
Yeah - it's great and one step closer to having ZERO creditors!!!!
Well - I do love Sundays! Went to the market (spent far too much but still within budget and stocked up on some things we needed and held off form buying - including deodorant for which I'm sure everyone will be grateful for! :rotfl:)
Everything has been packed away - we've had our lunchtime treat of bacon and brie baguette, I treated myself to my only self-gifting - a bunch of lovely flowers, and now I'm watching a Marple on YouTube. :j A perfect Sunday!!
Can't wait to up my total for this month tomorrow and on the 15th we'll get more from the OH when he get's paid so going to try and use that to pay off the OH's credit cards finally - once and for all!! And maybe knock a little off one of mine - a few hundred as well!!! Eek! I'm getting excited just thinking about it!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Keep thinking I need to do a massive shop but then I'm thinking actually I don't need to! Just need to pop to Waitr0se tomorrow for their half price on persil (I only buy it once a year) and half price on olive oil and that's me stocked up for the month!!! Why spend 150 quid on random stuff when I could spend 20 quid for just what I need!! Yes - thats what this is all about - thinking about what I NEED :money:
It's a long hard slog and it can be so boring sometimes but days like this - I actually quite enjoy it all!!! Find the best in everything! :j
Hope everyone else is having a wonderful, lazy Sunday afternoon

You have no idea, crazylady.......when I first met her, C-R was trying to pimp out Ryan Gosling to me......true story!!
I love your diary entry C-R - full of excitement and positivity!! You are getting there!! Small steps forward but every step forward is such an achievement. :T:T:T
And I totally agree on the boredom aspect - it takes some determination to keep plodding on when things aren't happening quickly enough and I think we all feel that between paydays. I know I do. But there is no option than to keep hacking away at it. One day, it will be done and I can't wait for that!!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -
thanks HOK3Y!!!!
and it's true crazy_lady - we were planning a Ryan Gosling kidnap! but I fear I haven't the patience to be a super-stalker!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Every day that isn't a payday is a dreary drag on my debt-busting aims and objectives. Why can't my work give me all my paychecks until next August right now so I can be debt-free before Christmas?Oh - I remember -this is my penitence for the frivolity of spending on credit!:eek:
and so the journey to debt-freedom plods on!!!!
