Popped to Iceland this morning as all out of frozen treats and need some basics. Ended up spending £20.75 which included £2 top up on bonus card, 2 boxes of ice pops, tub of ice cream, box of fabs, 2 loafs of bread, 4 pints of milk, toilet rolls, 3 tins of tomatoes, 2 bottles of pepsi, 2 bottles of lemonade, 2 bags of grated cheese, 1 block of cheese and a bag of 20 packs of crisps. I think all in all that wasn't bad for £20.75p.
All i'll need tomorrow is meat and veg for Sunday lunch, and most likely more milk. Be cheaper getting a cow! Lol!
Oh, also have 60p to add. Fruit van came round this morning and the kids all bought a piece of fruit each (despite having a bowl full in the kitchen!). But i encourage them to eat fruit.
Off to update sig....

Hoping for yet another low spend week in regards to food shopping
The boys are off with their Dad tomorrow, so i am going to eat whatever we have in the house, although i'll get a few things to take to work to nibble on.
Waiting for Tax Credits to be processed, so it couldn't have come at a better time!0 -
Hi all,
Final spend of the month, and as predicted I,ve gone over...
£24.01 at Mr S this includes a £3 coupon - £10 on cat food (a months worth), popcorn for kids holiday snacks, rolls, ham (huge pack), cooking choc for brownies, cocoa for same.
£42.52 in Mr L - £13 on meat, also got some drain cleaner as shower looks nasty, 10 packs of cheapo noodles for kids to snack on.
Why do kids turn into bottomless pits in the holiday - DD17 annoyed me by making her and her friends 'full english' 4 times in a week, using sausages, bacon, eggs, beans all 'allocated' for family meals - explained to her that although I appeciate she has to eat, she doesn,t need to use £££'s of food one one meal - que teenage flounce.......
Being the kind mummy I am, bought her a HP suitcase for her hols, she only has 15kg luggage allowance, perfect size, lightweight - BUT its wrong colour, wrong size, and just wrong wrong wrong - took case back to shop and tough tit - she can use carrier bags for all I care..... grrrrrrrr.
And relax - off to update sig and get the washing out.
Have a fab day all xNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong this month and I've completely lost track of what I have and haven't spent but i'm pretty sure it's over a £1000
I'm going to start again on 1st of August and hope for better results so am starting my preparation today with meal plans, searching for cheap recipes. I have a completely empty freezer thanks to a power cut while I was on holiday so am planning to pre make and freeze lots too x0 -
Just wanted to say sorry for your disaster and wish you luck, hopefully wont take long to restock your freezer.Slimming World at target0

I'm going to Spain next Sunday so need to try and empty the chest freezer- don't trust it, its ancient! I went to Aldi for the first time in months and took advantage of the vouchers that they print in the daily mirror ;D I compared the shopping with Mr T's and saved £17.73, great stuff.

Didn't need much in the way of food but took advantage of some good offers, especially on laundry products.
