    I've been Money Tipped!
Been to the shops as planned, and managed to pretty much stick to my list.

Iceland: A spend of £20.00 which got me quite a bit. 2 loafs of bread, 2 packs of bread rolls, 2 cartons of milk, 2 bottles of pepsi, 2 bottles of lemonade, 2 tins of hotdogs, 2 loaf cakes (not on list but only £1), bumper bag of apples, big box of cereal, 80 ice pops, tub of ice cream, cheese, instant mash (i know, i know, but baking with it) and even 50p on my savings card! Was really happy with all that for £20.

Tesco: A spend of £16.21 but that included dog treats i forgot at the weekend, another tray of 24 cans of diet pepsi for summer, 2 tubs of marg, big bag of salad, cheese slices, big bottle of blackcurrent (no value left so had to get that) and a value bottle of orange.

Thats 3 trays of diet pepsi put away for summer for days out and a holiday! I wasn't going away, but my parents have given me some money (from a ppi refund i did for them) to get myself a break. So 7 nights self catering in a caravan near a beach. I can't wait! :D Love having something to look forward to.

Tea tonight is pasta and salad. Night of work too so i'm happy!

Will add the £36.21p to my total. Aiming for NSD tomorrow and maybe friday. Have cinema tickets booked for saturday (kids club, budget tickets) so will need to go to home bargains or poundland on friday or saturday for some sweets for the kids.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day

    CP xx

I am hoping to do well this month. Mr F has given me 2 £10 Sainsbob's gift cards he received for doing surveys. :D
I have a quote from plasterers that is higher than I thought so need all the GC savings I can make.
I got a lot of fabric from Doncaster market - all my windows need new blinds/curtains.

I'm trying to save for a new lounge carpet by the end of the year so need to do likewise. ;) Hoping for an Asda voucher from Maximiles surveys but can't seem to get that illusive last 120 points!

Is Doncaster Market & Food Hall still open and active? I live about half hour from there and haven't trekked over for years. If it's still lively I think I'll pay it a visit. Used to love their markets.

I've gone slightly off track and need to work out what I've spent as I forgot to keep the receipts, whoops.

I spent £1.84 in Tesco yesterday on some rolls and a big bottle of Pepsi. I've also dipped into the grocery money for some deodrant for DH, which was on offer and it is normally really expensive, so that was £5 total for five cans. I need to have a good think about any other little sneaky bits though.

We did do a boot sale on Sunday though, got £70 profit after paying for the pitch, drinks, cakes and a couple of bits DD bought. That's gone into the summer fun pot along with £94 that has just cleared from Topcashback.

I've got £62 pound left for last shop tomorrow, should be plenty. We've been invited to a barbeque so will need a bottle of wine for that, but otherwise I have enough food for main meals until payday, just need to top up the fresh stuff.
  • Hi Lovelies, been a few days since last post. NSD Saturday and Sunday but needed milk and fruit and veg so spent 15.05 on milk, new tats, broad beans, carrots, onions, strawberries ans raspberries fresh off the field. Oooh and eggs. This also includes 3 packs bacon a small gammon joint and 5 packets of stir fry sauce for a fiver from Hubs from work. Revising my meal plans as we speak

Off to figure out the start of my plan whilst I finish lunch

Thatswhat i said when i gotmy american one and then igot.my little chest freezer that i love of fill

The market is all open as far as I know. I was there on a Saturday - lots of stalls. Well worth a visit. I wanted slippers for Mr F. I saw some £6 a pair and then £3 ones so bought him 2 pairs. I also got some of the cotton backed PVC fabric - £6 metre - will make an apron for Mr F and 1 for a Christmas present for Son who cooks a lot.

    Rant alert:

 my housemates decided they wanted to buy a big BBQ. I wasn't so keen because I know big BBQs just go rusty in house shares... I had to drive to pick up the BBQ, and pay parking while i picked it up. My housemates went to buy all the BBQ foods, and have come home with almost £60 worth of food (for 4 people) - finest burgers and finest sausages and £10 of rump steak. Suddenly I'm expected to hand over £15 to cover BBQ food that is of a much higher quality than I would ever go for, and even for rump steaks I said I didn't like. That leaves me just £8 of my budget to last to the end of the month! I am not a very happy bunny at all, as that will barely cover lunch stuffs.

You need ground rules in that house share. No decisions made until discussed.

    Evening all,

Minicooper - I hpoe you offset you time, fuel and parking costs to their £15 'invoice'.

Spent £5 at £land today was passing and got toothpaste etc and a sanrnie.

Also spent £50 at AF last night, mostly on carp for kids for summer break, will add to sig when delivered, as they sometimes don,t have the stuff in stock - £14 of that was on 5kg coffee beans, I usually spend £10 per kilo, so long term saving.

Picked our first corgettes and made corgette 'chips' finely sliced, covered in flour, smoked paprika, salt n pepper and deep fryed till crsp - not healthy but yummy with a cold glass of rose provided by OH

Have cooked HP Mr L gammon joint, will have with potato salad tonight, and the rest to be sliced n frozen for packed lunches
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    £300/£130
