I knew I shouldn't be so excited on having bf home for just over a week - well I was right to be excited but the grocery budget wasn't! You can tell it's warm as he's requesting strawberries and bananas.
I picked them up from a street vendor £2.50 got me two punnets of Scottish strawberries and a hand of medium bananas.
Also nipped in to Mr Ms and got myself some cherries (on offer here) and grabbed 2 boxes of special k cereal bars too - on offer at 99p. as they will be perfect for me and bf to take a box each across to Belgium next month. These however came from a different budget do just the £2.50 to add to my sig.
After I've been to Belgium I need to sit down and work out a proper savings plan for Christmas and all future tournaments (the next one is in October so not too close) so will make a grocery shopping plan. we are soon to get a new American style fridge freezer (our current fridge freezer is on it's last legs - boo) which will give us more space and actually enable us to shop monthly which is how I shop best - huzzah!
Off to figure out the start of my plan whilst I finish lunch************************************

I remember what they were, just not the prices, so I'll check when I'm in store next or just check my bank balance for the total (I like to know the price of each item for the blog though so might just have to go in. ]
