I've updated my signature now, so I'm on £118.29/£250 and I've got one more shop to do before payday and lots in. The weather has helped though, as we have been eating lots of salad and light meals.
This challenge is really helping though and I feel like I'm getting a handle on the finances. We did have lunch out today though, which was not in the general moneysaving plan, but I figured as it was such a nice day and it wasn't like we would be getting into debt or anything. We really enjoyed our lunch in the sun!0 -
Evening Lovelies, hope you have all enjoyed the sunshine, bit too hot for me 32 here today but still mustn't grumble hey. NSD for me today. Tomorrow will be the same as off to Sandringham for a cooling woodland walk so a snacky lunch out then roast chicken and veg when we get back. Am hoping that Monday will just be fruit and eggs, we'll see. Had a few spots of rain and some thunder here which has dropped the temperature a bit so hoping for a good sleep tonight. The fan will be going full kelter anyway! With Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha

Had a little trip to Tesc0 today, and have spent £17! That leaves £23 to last me to pay day at the end of the month. I still think that will be achievable, as I'll be away the weekend after next! I still have a lot of food to run down (though I've been doing fairly well).0

Well the hope of a small spend today went down the pan! Far too hot to eat what was planned so bought lots of salad bits to have burgers tonight and chicken tomorrow. £32.88 in MrA - had to buy silly things like olive oil and soap which we don't buy very often but cost a fair few quid! Also needed a few bits from Mr S so another £6.96 spent there. Far too much spent but all stocked up now with plenty of fruit and veg, lunch bits and enough in for meals this week and more! (and the essential ice cream and milkshakes for this hot weather). Was intending to make the carrot cake muffins mentioned on the thread a few days ago, got all the dry ingredients in, bought muffins cases and forgot the bloomin carrots - oh well - maybe next week. Definately need a tiny spend next week!0

Oh no I just wrote a big answer to this and lost it! It's a great thread on the Debt free wannabe section of these forums but you don't have to have debt to take part. Hope you don't mind me replying Nicky noo na x
Been spoiled with free hospitality so far this weekend, in surroundings that were about as far from an MSE frame of mind as you can get.
Back to reality tomorrow with grocery shopping. My sig says I've lost the plot this month, that is right, I must be about £40 over with 2 weeks to go. Perhaps I can make up for this next month.0
