Seems like one or two are hitting a low just now so hugs to those that need them. :grouphug:

Spent more than hoped for myself today as it came to £36.73 and still need a few things tomorrow but have a voucher for Te$co so aim to use that and very little money.
Had some mushrooms that needed using so made some leek, potato and mushroom soup also roasted some peppers & tomatoes to make another soup out of tomorrow - did this today because had oven on doing some crispy coated chicken breasts and oven chips. TBH filling the oven up when it is on is not something I think about that much so was pleased that for once I had.

Am just watching the Great British Budget menu but have missed quite a lot so will watch it again from the beginning on line tomorrow.
I too missed the start upsetting wasn't it

    Hi everyone,

Haven't posted for a couple of days as have been working plus had DDs induction day at new senior school on Thursday.

Had NSDs Wed/Thur/Fri but spent £6 today in £land on drinks/packed lunch bits for the week, plus £24.80 into 2nd purse for items used this week.

Going okay so far, although the fridge is a bit bare. We are off to a friends for a BBQ later so DH has gone to the farm shop to buy a couple of trays of meat. Need to mealplan for this week and will be off to Ts tomorrow to buy the necessary.

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine, and good luck Meg for your appointment.

£10 spent today on toilet rolls, cheese, bread Rolls, Sauce mixes, custard powder, smoked ham, go ahead breaks, baby plum toms, cucumber, eggs, baby new potatoes and cherries (last two from the greengrocer so smaller bags just for me!)

About £15 left in the budget and that should be plenty based on what we have in and what we're likely to be eating/drinking/doing!
