Mr F went shopping - with a list.
He almost kept to it. :)
Had a £10 gift card from doing surveys - ended up just spending £1.78 cash. :D
The potatoes in Sainsbugs are only £1.19 for 2.5kg! Cheapest I have seen - good range of sizes too.
So for his gift card and £1.78 - he got - 5kg potatoes, 18 eggs, 2 packets of water biscuits, trex, nectarines, satsumas and off list - 2 bags of fruit gums. :D
Dinner was sausage roll with potato croquettes and baked beans.

Great price for Potatoes. Cheapest in Asda are 2.00, except for SP
which seem to be more soil than spud, fiddly little things.

Yay just weighed myself ,another 3lbs off. So first half stone gone. This is really working for me though God knows how as I seem to be eating for England.

On the budget side I am spending more as fruit and veg so dear, but feel its going to be worth it to be fitter and of course on the plus side is that if I keep it up I should have a whole wardrobe of clothes that fit me again so wont have to buy new.

Did manage to get half price reductions in Asda, got steak .turkey breasts and prawns for 6.00, portioned up for 12 meals. and will be going today to see what fruit and veg I can get.

So first week I have spent 25.00 but got loads that will be used next month and also stocked up a a few spices I didnt have to try some more slimming world recipes.

Meg,is it slimming world that you are following?

How on earth is it July? Where did 2013 go? I'm in for another month, and this time I'm in for £80 as it's a 5 weeks month.

This month I'm making an effort to eat a bit more healthily. My waistline has not stopped expanding while I've been comfort eating and skipping the gym, and my BMI is sitting on borderline between 'overweight' and 'obese'. I'd like to keep it under the threshold if I can...

I have spent £5 already, and I'm going to Aldo's today to pick up lunch and breakfast foods for the week. Every month I come in, and seem to have enough in my freezer to cover dinners until next month, this is no exception! I'm possibly going to be moving in a couple of months, so I really do need to work on a plan that will use everything up, as I don't want to have more than a carrier bags worth to take with me.

£50.95 spent yesterday on our big shop. I used a load of vouchers, and got a lot for our money. We've been buying more fruit and veg, and have three full bowls of fruit/veg taking over my kitchen worktop. I bought donut peaches, which are a massive treat, as our local shops don't stock them!

Yes its slimming world, I thought I would give it a go as my DD has lost 4 stone on it but I really didnt think it would work for me as it gives you so much to eat.

But it really does seem to work, I even had my usual fish and chip takeway with my DGS on friday and still lost weight.

£250 for me this month please.

Have half a supermarket in the kitchen as I have totally lost the plot spending wise - so big girl knickers on and intend to be super controlled this month.
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
