My GC started on the 14th June and ends on the 20th July with 2 weeks on holiday in between. So far I have spent a total of £102.97 which is much less than I would normally have spent in 2 weeks but I have a freezer full and have been ill so have missed some meals:( It is making things much clearer not including DH booze but TBH I haven't bought any as he had so many social events recently I think he has sickened himself of the stuff:rotfl:
I need to do a small shop at Mr T tonight, DH is coming too so I am hoping to keep him under control as we go on holiday next Friday afternoon so don't need much except fresh bits, a few toiletries and some extras as my Mum is coming to lunch on Sunday.
I will do a shop for picnic bits for travelling on Friday/Saturday and may need to spend a little on milk when we get back but that should be it. Maybe spend £200 not £150 but as I normally spend over £100 a week that is an improvement:)Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%

Not even in July yet and need to add a £27.97 spend at Approved food. I will not use this stuff until July/August, but going to add it into July's budget, in order to try and reduce August budget right back down again. Lots of stocks bought, incl a massive bag of soft bap mix and YP mix, so should last through school hols a bit, also toothpaste and a few other bits.
Three big shops coming on 1 & 2 July, to take advantage of all the free deliveries i keep being emailed, and cheapest products/best offers between the stores. Need to stock up as my Dad is away this month, so i know he won't be doing any shopping til he gets back; so i will try and last out til then or just before (as DD1's birthday is a day before he gets back) ... we will see!GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Hello:)
First spends of July to report. £41.20 at Aldi using our first £5 off £40 voucher so we now have a months worth of meat, coffee and store cupboard goods. Next week's will be used to get a month's worth of juice, milk, freezer stuff and fresh bits. I should then only have 3 small top ups of fruit, veg and fresh bits.
I have also added £22 to my total to cover the rest of my AF order (the other half came from June's budget). This is quite a big spend but I got loads of bulk packs which will last at least three months. Still scary to see how much of the budget has gone in week one:(
Have a good weekend everyone.

Been out today with a friend. Spend of £12 added to sig.
My friend has a Mini Market where she lives - sells stuff really cheaply. For the £12 - I got a lot. Near to sell by dates or over like AF.
We took a picnic so no spends on food while out. It rained but we found a seat by a tree with overhanging branches - so stayed dry.
Did spend on some kitchen bits but different budget.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I have used a couple of things already in but I have also bought a couple of extra things that should be carried over to next week ...
Challenge is I need a cucumber for packed lunches so gonna get this Sunday I just need to make sure that I don't buy things I don't need
I reckon I should also have at least 2 meals I can freeze this week to be carried over for myself tox
