    Hello everyone

I have been flying at the speed of light all last week as mum & dad came up friday for BH. Got quite a bit sorted in the garden despite the rain, so well chuffed :D They left today after lunch  I do miss us not living closer anymore as we used to spend wed & fri together most weeks.

Have got step-son coming on thurs till sun (in laws also around and out all day sat) and kids off as it's 1/2 term so am taking this pm and evening off to relax will then have a tidy and swap round tomorrow ready for the rest of the week.

I will start flying by lil-me's list next week but am really pleased with the way the house looks at the moment even though I still have one wall to do. Lets hope I can keep it like this then it'll only be our bedroom and the loft to sort out, tidy and clean :rotfl:

:grouphug: to all those who need it and congrats to all the newbies, well done.

Hello all. Well I've been in a foul mood all day aswell, for some reason DP went out for a drink and me who doesn't drink has what feels like a hangover! Headache, mouth like Sadam's flip flop etc!

Well done to those who have been flying well :)
Solway kid well done with the paying off of the store card, guessing it's shredded now?
Michelle, hugs, babes can really test the patience at times.

Well, I've done next to nothing, been at a pre holiday meeting this morning & met the other families who are going from here aswell, all nice people, one gorgeous little boy with downs who is a right little handful, he has an older brother who is between my sons ages so hopefully they'll get on.

Decided to get the food processor out and use it, the darn things bitten me!! Suppose they must give you a spatula to help scrape the sides as it has a sharp blade :o So here I sit with a cut finger bleeding through the plaster, nice!!

Right anyway, after doing some dailies DP is out tonight so going to do the sitting room then, easier as all his RC stuff is splattered all over the place at the mo!
One day I might be more organised...........

    Hello All

Just a quick update. We are all packed up now (barr last minute things) fridge freezer defrosting as we speak.

Got cooker element replaced this morning so now £70 lighter:mad: but I know I would not have liked to move into a new place only to find the oven didnt work so feel l have done the right thing :A .

So will be swishing and swiping like mad tomorrow behind the removal men. Have done a lot of the cleaning inside cupboards today. Oven looks like new, really will miss my lovely lovely oven (only thing I am really sad about leaving:rolleyes: ).

Will be off time tomorrow until Friday (how will DH cope:eek: ) but will come back on board with the list from Monday.

Take care everone and happy flying.:D

  • i've not really tackled lounge yet today. i've spent the day clearing out airing cupboard in boys bedroom. this is more like a junk cupboard (not anymore). i had old toys that no longer work, baby clothes "just in case" (I've been sterilized:rotfl:and my youngest is 2 ), loads of old bedding, well just useless stuff really. useless to me, Ive put 5 carriers full out for charity pickup, 2 big bags of bedding for my sister who needs it, enormous bag of baby clothes and cot bedding for pregnant SIL. And bin is full again after being emptied this morning. now I can use the space for the junk I do need to keep:rotfl:
I will be doing the lounge when kids go to bed so i will update later.
    Nothing to declare ;)

Hi all, lots of posting and Flying today! Had to make a second cuppa while I sat and caught up.

Well done to new folks this week and hugs to those who've had a testing time.

Hope the move goes well Shell, that's really considerate to repair the oven and to clean up behind you. I once had a card from new people moving in to say thanks for leaving it clean so I make a point of doing the same. Little gestures cost nowt and mean a lot.

I'm going to set the timer for an hour since I'm starting late today. Livingroom isn't so bad but the kitchen's a bomb site again..

no, I haven't chopped the storecard up yet.. I will though..honest. (Can you still read that?)

Catch up later, have a good evening.
