Morning everyone , Been having grandson for a bit so just been getting what i can done before he comes and while he has a nap hes teething as well .
Today i'm grandson free so while i was busy upstairs doing my bed room the kids were even busier down stairs trashing the living room its not so bad now played a game of clear up the mess with dd3 we had a race to see who could do it the fastest.
I have given up on mopping the floors as the dog and kids are constantly coming in and out and turning the kitchen floor into a mud bath.
Need to sort my other 2 out now see what their up to .

    Hi all,
I'm feeling kind of old having read through, my children are 16,18 and 21. I was lucky enough to be off work for nearly twenty years but now work full time as University is flipping expensive.
I do envy you lot at home with your little ones it is a great time although I do remember having some foul days occasionally.. but it usually just takes a spontaneous hug and a 'I love you Mummy' to erase them from your memory.
This is probably the wrong thread for this but I always remember this verse I saw in someone's house, author unknown....

Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
For Children grow up we have learnt to our sorrow
So quiet down cob webs dust go to sleep
I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.

    Morning all

Stripped and remade bed, bedding washed and draped round the house because it's raining.

Dusted and polished all bedrooms and vacuumed them all, and landing.

Ditto living room and vacuumed through hall and kitchen and then up the stairs.

Took dog to vet to have her stitches out. It's not healing properly in one place so she's got to wear a t-shirt to stop her licking it! It was either that or a collar and I'm sure she'd rather wear a t-shirt :D

She doesn't seem to be bothering with the scar now so hopefully it will get a chance to heal properly, otherwise she's got to have it all done again :(
