Evening everyone, hope you're all ok. You all seem to be flying well pangel5.gif

I've been busy flying this morning, before going to work at lunchtime, as I haven't done anything since last friday.
Friday evening I went to my cousins wedding do.
Saturday I went to a family party - my aunt & uncles 40th wedding anniversary.
Sunday my sister took me shopping because yesterday was my birthday.
Yesterday my mum did me a birthday lunch. She did say it was going to be a bbq to which I replied "it has rained every 28 May for the last *!*! years and it even rained the day I was born so why on earth would you think this year would be any different!!"
I feel like I've spent the last few days eating too much chocolate cake and drinking too much red wine!!s_o.gif

I'm going to try and keep up tomorrow - I have to as the outlaws arrive Thursday morning. I'm sure mil has Anthea Turner white gloves in her suitcase when she comes to stay. She has been known to ring up to speak to dh and comment on how tidy the house looked when she popped in while I was at work. I said to dh perhaps she should look at how much mess she makes when she stays. I get through a bottle of bleach trying to keep my white kitchen sink clean and not tea stained. It became a bug-bear of mine when mil & pil stayed for 10 weeks a couple of years ago while waiting for their house to be built. They're moving again, their bungalow is sold, but I've told dh they are not staying again!! I like them but not in my houselaugh.gif

Right, off to the land of Nod, so, see you tomorrow, sleep welldormir2.gif

    Hi All,
Happy Belated Birthday HopeElizzy I hope you were spoilt rotten!
Tough to go back to work after four lovely days off, this forum is still inspiring me and came home from work and headed straight for the hoover before putting dinner on, I knew if I put it off I'd never do it. Then made dinner tidied up and cleaned mirrors and dusted. Feeling so virtuous it's untrue.
Just going to peek at tomorrows list.... my houst looks better after two days it's great.
    Good night all

waves hi to all - took me ages to read all that has been happening!

Well I did all my list yesterday but had a phone call in the morning asking for a 2nd viewing for the people that came late on saturday - so basically I started again!! Friend helped though as she wanted to go out to town in the morning which we did - I was shattered when we came back but we did the final bits for the viewing and grabbed a quick sarnie before they arrived - then the rest of the day was spent planting out the plants she'd brought down -- We didnt do any this year as we were expecting to have moved by now *sigh* but it is starting to look nice and have mass re-planted the pansies form the pots and baskets to give a splash of colour for possible future viewings. We did get an offer yesterday but not high enough - agent is speakign to them again today. Good thing is they can move fast so we might not lose the place we want if all goes well.

Trying VERY hard not to get excited as the last buyers pulled out at the last minute and that is just soooooooooooo depressing ... dont want to go there again if we can help it.

Anyway today is officially my "extras" day and ironing - of which I have none - but am feeling very hamster like with very swollen glands and that kind of "going to come down with something horrid" feel. Didn't help living in the coldest place in Britain on Monday!!! Colder than Siberia according to the news. Sooooo - have decided to do some books and try and make a decision what to do if we do get to move - shift all the 1000 books that I have listed to the new place or just sell the lot and the amazon listing file. Sales are slowing as I dont have much new stock and not going to to buy to sell as I cant be *rsed to do all the tax stuff and accounts for it. decisions decisions.....

Anyway am going to go dose myself up with something and be miserable :D Have to go to PO with sales from yesterday but OH told me to take it easy - especially after yesterday when I didnt stop all day - Sue my energetic lifelong friend eventually said at about 5.10 - "I've had enough now" and we went in and I started cooking! rEally glad she was there though cos she is such a help.

Be grateful for a few crossed fingers re the offer if any can spare them while flying!!!

    Catch up later xx

    Morning everyone.

Belated birthday wishes to hopeelizy, hope the move goes well shell (have to agree not many would have replaced the cooker element, but like you i would have felt too guilty if i hadn't), nice to see you getting stuck in saversarn, and have a lovely shopping trip nicki. Don't go too mad with your points, if you are like me you will be wanting to save some for xmas. (although i'm hoping i have enough boots points to buy charlie a toddler chair at £40, but i think i am a way off at the minute)

More grumps today, although i am out for a good part of the day having a hair and makeup trial for my sisters wedding, which when we had the woman for my wedding took 2 hours per person.

I didn't get him to bed till 9:30 last night (had to rock him to sleep for about an hour) when he normally goes fuss free at 7, a runny nose and the snuffles, rosy cheeks. I then had to start marking, which i did till midnight. Then i had to wash my hair for today, as i hadn't had chance to since the spa day and the swimming and i didn't then cos i had a cream all over my face.

So i collapsed into bed at 12:30, and then was woken up at 6:30 am by more crying.

Got DH to assemble the baby walker last night, so we will try that for a bit today, and we've got the kiddies telly on at the minute, and had calpol, but i may have to write off this week the way it is going.

Anyway, it will not last forever, so i will just do what i can.

maralum - feel for you too hun. We went through the lots of wind making me a grumpy bunny and i used to be breast feeding on the hour every hour for most of the hour. Some days i would feel so weak and dizzy.

ESSENTIAL JOB today is to deal with Aunty's birthday present stuff, more marking, and i have to wash Charlie's stuff as he has no more clean vests and we will run out quickly if he is really sicky again. May even stick them in the TD if i am really struggling.

Best go and get dressed anyway. Hugs all round.
    Michelle, x

Hellooo . . . guess what?!?!? I did the ironing today! It's only been waiting for at least a month! Feeling so pleased with myself

Enough back patting - what else did I do:
    • Walked Arsha (morning and afternoon)
    • DW filled, washed and emptied, and filled again
    • Kitchen bench wiped
    • Kitchen cupboard doors wiped
    • Two loads of clothes laundry, plus puppy blankets
    • Cleaned puppy crate
    • Went to op shop and got another wool blanket for puppy
    • Started end of month business finances
    • Spent some time with sister
    • Spent some time with cousin - she is having a lumpectomy tomorrow and is understandibly nervous
    • Dinner is done, dishes are done, and Lost starts soon.
    Tomorrow brings bedrooms -
    • Change kids beds
    • Boogie in each room
    • Do whatever laundry ensues
    • Dust and vacuum bedrooms
    • Walk Arsha . . .
    • Whatever else comes up . . .
    Take care everyone . . .

    Hello all,

Gosh, it just goes from bad to worse! Poor Owen woke up with a nosebleed to accompany his chicken pox this morning and Freya's been named "Thundergun" by all who've had the pleasure of hearing her gigantic botty burps :o - I really hope the infacol kicks in soon. My little monnies are having a bad time at the moment.

We can't even leave the house to get Owen a treat or some fresh air as he's still infectious. What a cr@ppy half term for him, he has more fun at playschool  .

Have fun having your hair done today Michelle, enjoy getting glammed up, I only wish I could join you. A girlie day of pampering and champers for the flybabies sounds fabulous.

DeniseNZ, hooray, the ironing is gone. You're much better than me, I don't iron at all. I just buy clothes in a size too small so that the creases stretch out when you put them on :o . Lazy Mara!

Too true Shirley, I'm taking it very easy and chilling with my babies. Freya's changing so much already. She now weighs 7lb9 and has grown 4cm in length since birth  . I just want her to stay this way a bit longer. I feel as if I've missed so much of it already  .

Fingers crossed for boston, let's hope this is the one ;) .

Enjoy your day nicki, have fun spending your points and browsing. I always daydream that I've won the lottery when I'm browsing and can afford anything that my little heart desires. Of course, it will never happen - we don't even play the lottery :rotfl: .

I know that I've missed lots of hellos and would love to post to each of you, but the babies are now stirring. I can't follow the full lists at the moment, so I'll just post my "wish-to-do" list.

    Make beds
    S and S bathroom
    S and S kitchen
    S and S sitting room
Vacuum hallway (and bedrooms if possible)

That'll do for now, if I manage more, then I'll be very chuffed! Happy flying.
