    Hi All

I've done 2 loads of washing this morning and a load of ironing. Only thing is I put the first load of washing on the line while I went to do the shopping and it's absolutely poured down while I've been out!

Not done much else so far, DH just gone to pick my parents up from the airport with the kids so I'm going to go bed now instead of later as I'm working tonight.

Has anyone read Shopaholic & Sister? I read it yesterday and really enjoyed it - first time I've read one of those books.

    Anyway, catch you all later.

    Afternoon everyone.

I'm still a bit fuzzy round the edges. Not managed very much yet. We went over to my parents to give them some flowers for their wedding anniversary. Then on the way back i sent DH in the shop for some basics.

That's about it. Need to get focussed a bit, and get some marking done before the whole day is wasted. But, just going to watch the ugly betty that we taped on Friday 1st.

Amazingly, the sister i was drinking with yesterday, didn't have any hangover whatsoever. sod's law.

Anyway, i'll be back later when i feel more normal.

    Michelle, x
  • Afternoon all. Managed to get all my jobs done today, but only just got dressed. I like cleaning better in my PJ's. In the holidays i can do that when i've got nowhere to go, and if i've done the cleaning i dont feel like a slob!:o

I've also done dailies, made bread, made soup from yesterdays chicken and eaten it!, and coped with hubby under my feet. Am I the only one who finds the OH a hindrance rather than a help with house work? Oh well.
My night off tonight. Off to to bingo!:T not been for a couple of weeks so looking forward to it.
    Catch up later.

    Hello everyone,

Feel like ive been slacking, these last couple of weeks, not much flyladying being done, but because i have the new LO to look after, it has upset my routines a bit - hopefully i will get a good new one in the next few weeks!!!

Anyway, as i have a day off today, decided to try and catch up a bit. Had a really lazy morning (and i mean lazy, sat on my bum in my pjs doing my clicks and watching High School Musical (again)). But since lunch time, ive cleaned the bathroom and toilets (including the floors) wiped down the whole kitchen, done 2 loads of washing, and its all hung up outside, sorted out a 'hot spot' drawer, mended DDs drawer, and mended the runner bit in DSs drawer. Ive also re hung DSs football lights around his bed, and set up his pool/table football table in his room. Mind you, he is out with his mate at the moment (sorry to all you with rain, but its lovely here!!!) but im sure he will use it sometime this week. I do want to clean under the kitchen table, and hoover upstairs, but im having a well deserved break!!

So, going to finish my cuppa now, then its off to do that hoovering, and hopefully sort a few things out to put on ebay, my room is full of junk/charity shop/ebay stuff at the mo, and really want to start getting rid of it all.
    Have a great afternoon,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just went to the garden centre and bought a hosta. Luckily got back about 5 minutes before a shower of rain and grabbed my washing in - all dry and folded and put away.

Hosta planted by DH and he's just cleaning out the fish tank, then we're going to have a cup of tea and watch an episode of Six Feet Under.

Evening everyone, well not got much done this morning before we went to the quad track, couldn't wake myself up this morning, rain wasn't too bad couple of showers but that didn't put DS2 off in the slightest, he was upset as he went puddle hunting and couldn't find one :rotfl: but I am pleased as his clothes are much less muddy :D

Muppet welcome :) or do you prefer Pam

    Penelope Penguin welcome back

Have made a start in the kitchen now, decided cuppa before I finish off. DP is going out with his brother for a few drinks so I have to collect him later (he did expect me to bring him a change of clothes over when we got back but was politely told where to shove that idea! )

I've got a wash load out as the showers have stopped for now, thinking even if I get them partly dry then finish on airers.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Evening all Ordinateur07.gif

Having a quiet time without DD about :D Forgot to switch my alarm at 8.40 (to let us know it's time to switch the computer off and leave for school:o ) so that woke me up but I don't mind as I managed to get in the bathroom and have a nice bath before OH got in there :rotfl:

Not much flying done today, but OH is at work tomorrow and I'm on my own so I'll get stuck in tomorrow ;) OH has put up a shelf in the undersink cupboard, it did involve a trip out to B&Q in Warrington (only because I was after a new tap fitting for the hosepipe and hoped they'd have one - still ended up buying a washing machine one at £5.98  which no doubt will break on the second use!), but at least it's been done. So my "declutter task" tomorrow will be attacking that cupboard with gusto so I can add my gardening boxes to it instead of storing them outside under the garden table  For now I've just put everything that came out in as OH was using swear words that would make Gordon Ramsey blush :o:rotfl::rotfl: Took a trip to Co-op for beer, pizza, garlic bread, chocolate & Pringles as a peace offering ;) He didn't notice the two bottles of wine I sneaked in (only Lambrusco £1.89 a bottle ;) ) but probably will when he comes to get his beer!

Will post my flylist here so I will remember tomorrow what I want to do :rotfl:

Hello again :T Thank you all for your welcome-backs  Shell2001 - quite right! I'm inside as it's really rainy here. Had a productive day, got some done while DH was packing. DS came back from scout camp absolutely shatterd, and a stranger-to-soap, so he's been in a hot bath, and is now *resting* with his PS  Got more done after DH left - need to keep busy.

    Hi All,

First-timer in here. Feeling slightly ashamed because if there is a forum I should be on more than any it is this. My house is clean but messy and this is my downfall. There is too much clothes and shoes, academic books and plain old stuff everywhere! Add to this my DD 'stuff' and it is just all too much.

I have a cleaner that comes in once a week and this helps keep the house clean but the mess remains regardless as I always manage to make a mess all over again :(

I wish I wasn't messy and I wish I didn't have so much stuff :( I hate cleaning, okay maybe not hate but I find it such a chore and work it out that it is cheaper having a cleaner than me doing it. I earn more an hour and also the cleaner has a method and gets on with it. She does in 3hrs what would take me 3days to see to. The only thing I love to do is wash up. I adore washing up. Just wish I felt like that about everything else. Would love to keep my house clean and tidy myself. The joke is as I do all the shopping I always have a fully stocked cupboard with all I could need to see to it :(
