Howdy doody, hope someone somewhere has good Bank Holiday weather 'cos it's a bit chilly here!

Thanks for the new thread Lil_me, appreciated as always.

Welcome back to NewMrsL, Scaredycat and Happyathome (with an extra oops! for those car injuries). Sometimes I think I could manage without this thread but then I'd miss the lovelies on here.
Welcome too to Saversarn, and any other first weekers to follow.
Michelle, your post made me laugh; posting while tipsy. Hope you had fun and aren't too hungover today!

I'll see how much of the list I can do this morning, then I think I really should go and make ammends with my 'negative energy' mate who I haven't seen for 6 months. I fancy going to the Baltic (in Gateshead!) to look at art I don't understand and look in their shop for greetings cards I can frame to jazz the spare room up. Trying to crack the rut we got into by going somewhere different.

Onwards and upwards happy Flyers. Have a useful day!

Hi Denise, plenty of crossing off there!
Yup, its Bank Hol Monday and the start of half term hols. I don't think folks will be flocking to the beaches though, no sun to be had.
    Have a lovely evening.

    Morning all

Typical BHol weather here :( shan't begoing anywhere which gives us a chance to tidy up this pit a bit.

Was given some complimentary tickets for Chester Zoo last year which are valid until the end of this month (not felt like going/had time to go before now) so I reckon we will be headed Chester way tomorrow as we have something on on Weds and I'm at work Thurs/Fri.

mmmmmm can see already not a lot is going to get done round here.

Morning to all who haven't been blown away or flooded out!!!

Damn but the weather is grot ... poor dogs are going stir crazy but if you open the door they sort of slither to a halt and go back to the lounge!!!

Had a goodish day Sat - did the ironing & dailies and then heard we had a viewing so spent a happy hour cleaning round and tidying up "dressing" the house ... again smile0034db.gif

Yesterday didnt do much apart from dailies except try a new crumble mixture recipe with oats and stuff - nice, more like flapjack.

    Anyway
Monday and my almost life long friend is coming to stay today til tomorrow - bringing plants to put out

    omg.gif

Flying however will continue though not to the same extent as normal!

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Utility Room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE]

    Level Two
Clean floors - not mopping as dogs render it pointless in this weather but will vac the utility
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances[/STRIKE]

    Level Three
[STRIKE]Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required[/STRIKE]
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky - tomorrow after washing
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
[STRIKE]Clean oven if you didn’t do it last week - did yesterday after roast dinner[/STRIKE]
    Declutter mission task
Sort any cupboard, doesn't have to be in the kitchen/dining room, even if it's just for 10 minutes

Also DW loaded and on, S&S'd bathrooms, made up spare bed and put towels etc out for Sue, and done Amazon sales packed for PO tomorrow.

Doubt I'll be back today or much tomorrow but will do a progress report when I can tomorrow night when she's gone home

Have a great BH to all and welcome to all the newcomers and returners!!!!

    Happy flappin'

16_3_205.gif Morning all! Remember me 4_13_17.gif Not been around these parts for a while, but it's half term this week, DD is on a watersports trip in the south of France and DH is off to the Far East on business later today. So I only have DS for the week, until my sister and her 2 arrive on Friday evening. Thought this would be a good opportunity for me to do a big clean of the house.

I've started in the kitchen, tidying away, washing surfaces, and will wash the floor later. Think I'll clean those cupboard doors now.

Hi Penny and welcome back. I take it this horrible weather has driven you back inside from the garden:D .

Morning Michelle (whispered) Hope you had a good nights sleep and so slept through the hangover stage.

Hope the rain stops long enough for you to get outside the plant the plants Boston_uk.

It has now rained here constantly since early hours yesterday morning, we even put the heating on for an hour last night  .

Am sat here at work again today, wish I could have brought my ironing with me at least I would have been doing something productive. This morning I S & S kitchen, packed another couple of boxs and gave DH instructions for day (PACK THE SHED:mad: , was yesterdays job but he thought it might not rain today so put it off). When I finish work will be going to S & S kitchen at Bungalow and unpack all my store cupboard ingredients. Will also hoover garden shed and install carpet and play kitchen stuff for littles. Hoping this will give them a safe out of the way place to play while the unloading of removal van is going on. Just need to find a way of keeping the spiders out of the place:eek: .

    Also on list today:-

Hoover bungalow (yeah no stairs - are you jealous Lil_me:p :D )
    Hang stuff in wardrobes
    Clean kitchen units again
    Hoover out garden shed
Install all kitchen play stuff for littles
Unpack all storecupboard stuff and work out what is going where in kitchen cupboards

    Back at house

Insert new filter into clean extraction hood
    Pack up bathroom stuff

Gonna leave it at that, my proper list is too big and plan to most of whats on it tomorrow.

    Happy flying everyone
