Back in again this month after going way over budget last month!!

My month runs from 30th May - 27th June, at £80 p/w that's £320 for the month. This is for 2 adults, 3 children (6, 4 & 7 months) & includes all toiletries, baby stuff (nappies, formula, wipes etc), cleaning products and packed lunches for 2 DSs and DH. Doesn't include any meals out/takeaways, as this comes from our weekly allowance.

Will try harder this month ;)

Well, I've really blown it this month! Went to Sainsbury's this week to get 'a few bits' (how often have you heard that one?!) and included in that stuff for my Mum to use when she comes to stay at the end of the week to cat sit whilst we're on holiday. Budget is blown completely and I feel fed up.
I decided not to participate in the June challenge as I'm away for the first 2 weeks, then decided that's not the spirit! I shall just have half the budget as it's half the time. :)

If yu put mums stuff down to kennel facilities for two weeks you,ve probably got a bargain, and she likely wont use everything, so you will have something to come back to. Never say die !

I suppose so, although what I've bought wouldn't feed her completely, I just didn't want her shopping for heavy stuff whilst I'm away. :)
I suppose I haven't really blown it, especially when you consider that even going over £400 I've still spent less than I was spending this time last year!

I didn't think of that! She likes coming here and the cat get spoilt rotten, better service than at a cattery! :T

i now have to find an extra £100 pounds a month as I bought a new sofa at the weekend, couldnt stand the old one anymore, it was so uncomfortable. Also have to take back shoes I didnt need and a dress. Went right off the rails this weekend...well I get awful fed up watching the pennies al the time. So off I go into the wide blue yonder, with all the things didnt need.....again
