ok! yes it was me who bought a bottle of wine and a double chocolate pudding thing at Mark & Spencer! It cost me about £6.00, I was so bored at work last night(didnt open wine till I got home) and Marks is opened till 10pm, but I,m still within my budget for this week. Going down to Asda now, wont spend much, dont need much, just milk really. Wont go to Asda I,ll only buy rubbish, going to corner shop instead, there, decision made:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o

picked up some kitten food at our local pet feed store. to be honest they didnt have the brand i usually get so i had to get a different kind, the price wasnt really any cheaper than i would pay at tesco:( luckily i didnt make a special trip for it, i was passing anyway. next time i will ring to make sure they have it in first! did pick up 5 packs of the other brand though so i could ask them to order me some in for next month:)
still on track for a decent month though i think!:DNovember NSD's - 70 -

Went to local convenience store for weekend veggies and milk. DW said she wanted some Weetabix so included that as well plus sliced corned beef for sandwiches. Spent £6.83. We always have fresh veggies, cant stand the frozen variety, except peas.0

I did well in May and moved over the excess (£90) to the "extras" account:D I budget £75 pw and work on a 4 week period (£300). This is for the 3 of us which seems alot but this covers everything including diesel. So last month we spent on average £52.50 but this included diesel, so not too bad I suppose. All my cupboards are full and freezer well stocked so fingers x'd it should be a cheap month
I will set the same budget and move over again the excess.
I have just started this weeks mealplan thread if anyone is interested?

Hello everyone. Today is week 1 of the new month for me, and because I budget at just £30 per week, I'm disappointed today's came to more than £48. I couldn't use the vouchers that came in the post because I can't find my Tesco clubcard at the moment. I overspent in May due to my holiday. Perhaps I can claw back some of the cash over the coming weeks . June's a 5 week month for me.spendy/she/her ***DEBT-FREE DATE: 11 NOVEMBER 2022!*** Highest debt: £35k (2006) MY WINS: £3,541 CASH; £149 Specsavers voucher; free eye test; goody bag from Scottish Book Trust; tickets to Grand Designs Live; 2-year access to Feel Amazing App (worth £100); Home Improvement & Renovation Show tickets; £50 to spend on chocolate; Harlem Globetrotters tickets; Jesus Christ Superstar tickets + 2 t-shirts; Guardians of the Galaxy goody bag; Birmingham City v Barnsley FC tickets; Marillion tickets; Dancing on Ice tickets; Barnsley FC v Millwall tickets0

Can I join in too? I'm just about to start writing my shopping list for later so this will be a good test! Our budget is usually £200 for the two of us and the cat but I'm sure I can get it down a bit with a bit of thought!:jToday is the first day of the rest of your life; live it as if it were your last. :beer:0

Hi
I was just woundering, do most people do a weekly shop? 2 weeks or more?
Thinking of getting an ASDA credit card as if you spend £99 you get free deliverly, this should last about 2 weeks.
I do take my MIL to the local Lidl every other week so could get other bits-bread and milk then.
My month started on 21st as hubbie got paid then, already spent £70- so plan on eating out of cupboards and freezer then starting a fresh- if I can.
" adults and 2 boys- plan to spend £200.0 -
I'm in again this month, did really well last month so lowering my budget from £200 to £175 for 2, just need to stop my boyfriend buying lunch at work and wasting things I've bought for sandwiches!Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0
