They only have a sale every day because consumers think 6 items for £10 vs 6 identical items for £10 BUT used to be £15 is a great saving.

Just like "50% extra free" etc.

It's all rubbish. But stores have tried "no sales; always our best prices!" and no one buys it.

A less obvious way for DFS to scam those £1s

3 men are staying at a hotel and they want to hire a pool table... they ask the porter to go get one for them. They think that it would be roughly £30 to hire so they each give the porter £10.
The porter goes to get the table and it turns out to be only £25. Because the 3 men dont know the price the porter decides to get himself some cigarettes with the change - thats £2, and so he's left with another £3 so he gives each of the men £1 back so the men have each paid £9.....

    3 x £9 = £27 = total that the men paid
    £27 + £2 (for cigs) =£29

Where did the other £1 go???!???!??

    Heard a similar one before.

The £2 is part of the £27 they paid out so it's £27 +£3 change =£30

    Kind regards
    Customer Service - DFS
I'm particularly unhappy we have been waiting over 8 weeks and its only because I've been phoning my local Gateshead store that I know an expected delivery date. Poor communication and way over 8 weeks delivery. Won't be shopping with you again that's for sure!

It's a never ending sale, but it MUST end Monday.

They'd like to keep it going longer, they really, really, would.

    But they just can't.

Heres another complaint of DFS and please be aware if they do this to you or not.

My father had recently gone to DFS to buy a sofa, which was a lot of money and he paid cash. They said they do not have the £1 change (bit stupid as most of their items are ending with £99. So my father said not to worry, its only a pound and went on his way.

A few weeks later, my father went back to DFS to buy another cushion thing for the sofa...this time it was £95, and he gave them £100. The salesman comes back, says 'we have no change'. So my father gave another £5 to have £10 note change. The best part of this was the salesman gave my father £10 in £5 note and £1 coins. Therefore, having change in the first place, and did not even apologise.

Don't listen to 'we don't have change' because they're lying. They do have change, but they want that extra money off you.

This has made me very angry and I will never shop with scamming DFS again, they're bad with everything else they sell and are just money-grabbing fools.

Imagine if they said this to everyone!

Are you for real? You've made all this up, haven't you.
