    Hiya

Re Savings e-banking with 'pots', I'm sure other banks must so this but Barclays have an e-savings account. You get no interest from it, but you can transfer money to and from it instantly between your online Barclays accounts and it has no way to access it in a branch or on a debit card. I don't know if you can have multiples but I have mine set up between OH and my obline accounts and it's got our 'Maternity Fund' money aside in it, and will eventually have 'paying lump sums off debts' money in it

    Hi all,

I'm counting my Amazon profits (£19.71) towards PMS pot as I wouldn't of started selling my clutter if I hadn't started reading the forums from the MSE site.

I had a £16.32 saving from promotions the last time I shopped at Tesco and I saved £1 from a voucher for buying baby Bonjela which gives a grand total of £37.03 - not bad eh? :D About to edit sig x

We're back from hols. Made some PMS savings there inc using vouchers, clubcard for entry fee etc so have had a great time and spent less than I thought :) Refused apart from last night to pay for expensive drinks in bar (£1.40 for those fruit shoot things!) so made boys a juice bottle up each afternoon and night when we went out. Those I'm not going to include on this months as we were still away.

Anyway, back in now and ready to save. Had to do a little grocery shopping today as we had ran stocks down before we went. BOGOFs today total was £5.44, discounted items (frozen food offer) was £4.20. £9.64 not a bad start. Next pot is changed, was going to be for Christmas but have decided to save seperately for that aswell, so these savings will be for the summer hols days out/extras pot.
One day I might be more organised...........

havn't found the 'jars' yet but thought of a way around it by using old accounts in our single names that we were going to close. Ie my old current account I will keep open for PMS.

DH loved the card and everyone at our party liked the cards too.

Big spend this weekend just gone as party for 60 people doesn't come cheap. Trying to eat up leftover food etc though and planning on doing an ebay sell of variuos things. (spare patio heater anyone?)

    Hi y'all,

Saved another £12.43 on Tesco promos today. Also got 3 toilet rolls free with a pack of 9 which equates to £1.39 saving, (am I taking this a little far?!), bringing me up to a total of £51.85.

I have already spent most of these savings on a breadmaker today - saves me more money, right? Taking off £34.89, leaving £16.96. Next on my list is a slowcooker! ;)

Hope it's not too late to join in with PMS? Like Flylady says... I'm just jumping right in :)

Over the last couple of days I've read lots of the PMS posts and I can see how it works really well with the grocery challenge (which I'm LOVING!).

So, my first target is to pay the bit we haven't already got for our holiday in October. I booked it a week or two ago and half regretted it immediately - I kept thinking about how the money could go to our Mortgage Pig. It's daft really, as we all need the holiday but you can't always help how your mind works, can you? So, if I can find most or all of the money by being a bit canny here and there, I'll feel much better about the holiday.

Yesterday I worked out how much I'll need to save and it felt like a lot - although not an impossible amount. But I checked my accounts this morning as usual and realised I'd forgotten about some money my Dad owed me... he's paid it into my account, bless him - £150.00... so that's a massive boost to start me off :D

Anyway, that's enough from me... I'm off to see if I can find some vouchers for my Tesco shop later this morning.

Have saved £1.49 on a 3 for 2 on dog things, oh and £8 as we were going to buy a lead for Megan but found and old one which is strong enough for her. The plus side to the lack of savings is I haven't been shopping as much. Whatever is left from my GC challenge will go into the PMS pot at the end of the month.

Curv good luck with the saving and welcome.

**Edit** ooops forgot ebay sales, minus fees and postage will add that too.
