Birdie if you do a cracker cardie you need to wear some sort of "BANG!" t-shirt underneath - brilliant idea! I'm looking forward to getting my Xmas woollies on again this year, went a bit mad and spent a fortune on them last year so will be happy to get my money's worth a bit more
Looking forward to the London meet! I know this was half-discussed on FB but who exactly's going and what are we doing?!
Very well done on the money front Dinah and NIM - all that from ebay - good on you for persevering with it!
Hope Gracie and Baby K's bums are all better soon!Hope everyone is well! xx

Congratulations on making such great headway with the debt. To be sub 9k is fantastic.

I'm happy to just be guided around doing whateverAs long as I have a time and place to meet people I'm okay!
Sub 9k is amazing, well done you two  Have a lovely time in Ireland, I'll keep my fingers crossed things go well with Father NIM.
Fighting off a cold atm, had horrible vitamin c tablet in water this morning and I'm on the lemon, honey and ginger tea at work. Not letting it win!
At least you have lots to look forward too beside the exam KavicsIf there are a lot of new faces I'll need name tags. Terrible with names

We do need to make a plan for London. As in, when are where do meet, then where do we have a welcome to London cake? Then should we go and do something like visit a museum or exhibition, then where do we have lunch? Then we have to leave the boys somewhere and hit Liberty! Eeeeh I'm excited even though I don't know what's happening and I'll probably be worn out by the time we've had cake... but I'll battle on!
You must be so excited about your visit Kavics, when do you get here? It'll be lovely for everyone to see how much Baby K has grown!
Excellent idea about wearing a 'Bang!' t-shirt under my cracker cardi Tete! On it!
Good luck fighting off the cold Cinny!
It's bake off day today, my scones came out pretty well I think so hoping for a modest middle of the board result.People are taking it very seriously though, everyone's got their scones hidden away until the judging session at 10 and not giving anything away!

Would like to put a vote in for the Natural History Museum if we're throwing ideas in! I've never seen a dinosaur before
Plus we can wander through Hyde Park to get to Liberty!
Good luck with the scones todaySure you'll do great!

Glad you are enjoying Ireland Dinah. Hope Grace's nappy rash clears up soon. Well done on being sub 9k and having a good month moneywise.
Hope you guys enjoy your visit, Natural history museum is good.
Good luck with the bake off Birdie!0 -
Phew, scores aren't in yet but my scones seemed to go down well with at least a few people, 3 guys came back for seconds! There were some really odd flavour combinations though; sour cherry and coconut (dessicated coconut does not work in a scone!), blueberry, lemon and thyme (so sour!), lemon with icing on top (errr, it's a scone, not a cake!)... ours was the only savoury option which surprised me, cheese scones are my favourite!
Next bake is cookies in a fortnight, thankfully another team mate is baking them so I can just taste them and say what needs to be improved!
It would be my 3rd visit to the NHM, but I don't mind going again if everyone else wants to. Wandering through Hyde Park is a good call though (very slowly with a few breaks...)Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Noo, we're in LANDAN! We should try and do something that's new to us all
Sour cherry and coconut seems like it would work, but the others don't sound like my cup of teaCheese scones are 100% the best. You might win!!

I've been to the NHM a few times but I LOVES it and am happy to go again. The V&A is right next door too, and both are free. The V&A cafe might be nice for dinner (lunch to southerners) even if we don't see any exhibitions...
Anyway, see what the others think!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I don't really mind the NHM although it can get very busy on a Saturday. I will try to think of alternative options.
Birdie, we are arriving on the 10th. Exam is on 11th, than meeting the lot of you the very next day.0
