Aww, it's so sweet to hear you saying "he"! :) You'll be able to buy super cute things like this, and these now. I mean, can we just look at this for a moment.

Hope it's not too much longer until everything is sorted for you, Archers! I'd hate things being up in the air like that.

How's everyone this morning? :) I'm confused because it looks cold out there, but it's really warm. I hate the inbetweeny season, what do I wear?! Can't believe it's October next week  Do we have a new month challenge? I could do with something to stop me going off in the deep end when the sofa's paid off.

Also, what day is the meet?! I know it's the second weekend but I don't know what day..

Yeah that will be nice Archers, SIL is stupidly excited about that and my brother has said that OH will have to take nephew to rugby juniors when our boy starts. :) I'm still getting my head around it, think we'll have to go and buy some amazing boy things at the weekend so I can picture it IYKWIM. :o Also have to start looking for a teeny tiny suit for a wedding that we'll be going to when he's 4 months old. :)

Sorry you're in a poor spot Archers, moving is full of so many hidden costs, isn't it?! Hopefully in a month or so you'll be settled and back to rights with money. :)

ETA: Cinny! I have to have all those things! So blimmin' cute! :D

Meet is on Saturday 12th :)

And just because your baby will be the coolest baby, he'll have to have this! :D

It took my Cousin a while to get his head around having a Daughter when he had convinced himself he was having a boy, it wasn't until they started filling her room with her things that he set in for him he was going to have a little girl. He's so excited now!

Saturday makes sense! I'm excited for Liberty, I've never been!

Wow, trust you to find the best boys babywear ever! Please get the mickey mouse suit! You'll get a LOT of use out of a padded winter suit too, Grace lived in hers the first winter. I hated being trapped in the house so I'd bundle her up and we'd go for a wander.

I'd love to know how I ended up taking on more responsibilities when I don't even have time for the ones I have. As well as helping to run playgroup I now somehow am also the sling contact and the events organiser for our NCT branch. It's quite a fun job, just try to make sure something is on at least 3 weeks out of 4 so maybe a meet up at a play centre, or swimming pool, or coffee shop, and then a sling walk somewhere too. I just can't work out how I got myself into it!

Payday tomorrow. I've been horrific about checking the bank accounts this month. I know I won't like what I see so I've gotten around it by not looking. I'm pretty sure nothing is past the limits so we're getting fees, but I really need to be a bit better with it. I'm finding NIMs magical mystical wage figure hard too, I wish I knew what he'd be getting from one month to the next.

I emailed that skate company on Friday to chase my missing return, completely ignored. I'm concerned I'm actually going to have to go to small claims court over it.

I think I'm going to suspend ice-skating for a while. I really like the ladies I skate with, but I just don't have the time right now. In a few months I might do, but at the moment I'm completely swamped between working for dad, paid employment, NCT duties and trying to start my own business up. I value my time with Grace and at the moment thats what is suffering and it shouldn't.

I could do with slightly less cuddly atm, Grace has become super clingy since I went back to work. She's always been a mamas girl, but now she just wants to be carried, or on my knee all the time. literally. The only time off is straight after a morning bottle when she'll sit on the floor by my feet and read her books, but God forbid I stand up to get a drink or go to the loo, she just howls! She also has started getting defensive of me when we're out and about. In a cafe with several other mums yesterday and a little girl used my legs to pull up and grin at me, I smiled back at her only for Grace to come and try to push the girl's hands off my knee! She then insisted on up, where she sat staring down at the little girl until she gave in and left, only then would Grace come down off her perch..... she proceeded to take the discarded biscuit from a screaming little boy, clearly adopts a 'you snooze you loose' policy.

I've always wanted a little boy, so whenever I have a broody moment it's all baby boy things I look at :o

I'd just email them and mention small claims, that tends to stand out and make people take note! I can't help what think Grace is doing is adorable, I'm sure it's just a phrase she'll grow out of as she adjusts to not having you around so much :)

Hope tomorrow is good bank and money shuffle wise! Can't believe it's almost payday time, OH was commenting how he gets paid next Friday and I'm thinking - I'm sure you only got paid last week?!

I really love that little snow suit, going to order it tonight, although do I order it in brand new size or for 'next winter' size?! The Mickey suit is sold out in tiny sizes and it just doesn't seem as cute on a 1 year old. Going to ask Mum to pick me one up (or something like it, sure there'll be plenty of choice!) from Orlando! :)

It does sound like you're spreading yourself a little thin Dinah, don't be worried about scaling things back if it's too much. Time with Gracie is more important than organising other people's social lives! ;)

I'm hoping Grace is just going through a phase and will get used to you being around less but that story from yesterday is really sweet and funny! :)

I agree does sound like you are very busy but i think the things you are doing with Grace sound good and worthwhile.

She does sound such a cutie although i know how hard work it is when you can't put them down. Poppy always wants me to play with her and doesn't like to play alone which i find tiring. My Mum keeps telling me its easier having 2 so they play together but we will have a fairly big age gap.

My payday friday, need to start doing some christmas shopping. Have got Poppy one thing for her christmas eve bag so far.
