What about something like this, Wendz? Then you can fill the days with little tasks for the day as well as sweets! Ditto Birdie, don't forget pictures :)

I'm sure there are so many cute maternity Christmas jumpers, Birdie! I was actually thinking about your Christmas jumper the other day, I still have envy and never got a Christmas jumper last year :o

I doubt I'll find anything awesome for my bump, will get a big plain jumper and make another awesome light-up something for the front! (Any ideas?!) :) Just have to wait for the cheap little battery powered lights to hit the shops then I can get to work!

Why don't you make your own Christmas jumper this year? If I can do it, anyone can! :)

I have no skills with clothes :( I do have a yellow jumper just begging to be restyled. I was thinking of making it into a Jake the Dog jumper but I could do JAKE THE DOG IN A CHRISTMAS HAT! You could always make something like this? Or you could just do a bow!

Forgot tell you, when you were on holiday I found the perfect tattoo for you! Tah-daaah! Off to book in for my next one today, spreading out to my other arm hopefully :D

Teehee, got to love a good geektastic tattoo! Will you have your new tattoo by next weekend? The Big London Meet is looming! I'm excited! :j

Thinking about a bow or a wreath but I may have to do a cardi instead of a jumper as I'm prone to overheating now (weird, I've never worried about being too hot before!) so it's going to have to be something that works when the cardi is open or buttoned... oooh like a Christmas cracker?! :) Could even do a t-shirt to wear underneath with a dodgy joke, a hat and a toy stuck on the front! Can feel the cogs turning!

Anyhoo, decorating a jumper is as easy as you want to make it, cut some felt shapes out and glue them on if you're no good at sewing. Done! It's not like it needs to last a long time! ;)

Great ideas ladies. Will have a look into it at the weekend.

Hope you can manage to get something together for a jumper Birdie. Could always get a mans jumper and then decorate ?

It depends when he can get me in! I'll be honest, I should stay away as I really want to get hand tattoos and he's so good at encouraging me to get things :o I've been past his shop twice this week and he's never in, so here's hoping third time's a charm!

A cracker would be AMAZING. I'll be upset if you don't ;) Have you seen the "from us and the bump" Christmas cards you can get?

Can't believe London is just next weekend now, doesn't seem two seconds since the vintage fair but feels like a life time away at the same time :o

Very quiet on here! Where are you all?

    Ireland :D

Money update first as we were not online on the 1st, we did suprisingly well last month. Despite starting the month over -£600 in the red with no clue how we'd get through the month without going further into debt we managed to end the month having paid off over £800 AND paid all our bills etc.

This is down to NIM working a huge number of hours in August, and me making £677 for the month on ebay.

So the good news is we're now sub £9k, not by much but £8964.41 is a good step forward when we were nudging £10k last month. We've paid my parents off in full, and a small credit card payment. Hopefully this month we'll be able to start taking chunks off that too. Still have lots that can be ebayed. As I realised when I was tearing the house apart looking for my passport on Sunday. The thought that crossed my head was 'if you had less !!!! you'd have found it by now'.

Meeting NIM's dad in the next few days with a business plan I've been working on, fingers crossed for me please, very nervous as I need about £16k to start up (and no, you didn't miss me saying what this business was, it's been a Secret Project of mine for the last few months).

Grace is mostly enjoying Ireland, she has a HORRENDOUS nappy rash as NIM used some perfumed talc on her and basically her poor bottom looks like it's got some serious burns, the skin is super shiny and red. If she so much as wees she screams in pain. Anyone on facebook might have seen the video of her giggling at the baggage carousel, she loved that. She had a very similar reaction to meeting some horses when we were on a wander yesterday. Today is a quiet one due to the need to keep her nappy-free to let her poor bits heal a little, hopefully we can start taking her out and about again tomorrow if she can sleep through without pain.

Oh dear, poor Gracie! Sounds horrible, hope it heals quickly and you enjoy the rest of your visit.

Very well done money-wise last month! That's excellent progress, not even considering how bad things looked at the start of the month! :T

Good luck with the secret business plan meeting, hope FIL sees it as a viable investment. :)

I'll have to make a cracker cardi just to please you Cinny!

I think no one is as excited as I am to be in London by next week :). I am going to see so many people, so happy. Not happy to have an exam first though.

Poor Grace, I can emphasise , we had our first nappy rash last week after taking antibiotics for ear infection.
