I have a spare set Flower, they might need new batteries but I would be happy to post them to you if you could make use of them?
Thank you for the offer, very kind of you! However I have realised I have a wii fit that has been gathering dust in the cupboardso, I'm going to get that out and set it up and then I can use it to get a bit of extra exercise in while the kids are in bed as well.

Hello! Hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas?! We had a very nice time, it's manic with 2 little boys running/crawling all over the place but lovely and they get on so well, even if Zach seems to be in charge of his older cousin! We had no idea 2 years ago how much life would have changed for us all so feel very blessed. :happyhear
We've done something very stupid and bought an Xbox One, but it'll be paid for by the end of January so not too bad...I did make sure that OH ordered Just Dance to go with it; I can play that on an evening so I can sneak some fun exercise in once the little dude is in bed! Which means that I am joining in with your challenge! We're doing a Biggest Loser challenge at work so I hope that by having 2 groups of people egging me on I can finally lose some weight!
I like the idea of a declutter challenge too. I always need that, once again the clutter fairies have left me a load of rubbish I don't need and have no idea how or why it's in every drawer in the flat!
Well done for staying away from the sales too.I have only bought a jumper that I had my eye on when it was full price and it was reduced to £15 from £38 so I'm happy with that. :money:
Well done on being in the black finally ROTE! :TOvercome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
That is great news ROTE!
That is lovely he has a cousin to grow up with Birdie, so sweet.
I will join in with a de clutter challenge too. How we are going to squeeze another baby in this tiny house will be interesting!0 -
Great news ROTE!
The clutter has actually got to the point where it may have beaten me. Somewhere around the point the guest room turned into an ebay room I think I lost the will to live.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Maybe the next Threadie meet should be in your ebay room and we can help you clear the clutter!
It is a good job that the cousins have each other Wendz, as neither of us are in a rush for more babies! My brother says it's because Jake was such a bad sleeper and they don't feel up to doing that again and we say it's because Zach is so good we're scared of getting a difficult baby next! It's hard enough with an 'easy' baby, I dread to think how we'd cope with a handful!
OH's xbox joy lasted all of 2 hours yesterday until he realised that it doesn't read discs so needs to be replaced, which won't be until Friday! Luckily we got a code to download Dance Central with it which worked fine so were having a jump around the living room last night! He acts like he doesn't enjoy it, but I know he was secretly loving it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. I've downloaded the decluttering calendar from My Simpler Life (I think that's what the blog is called...) and it's got a decluttering task for every day of 2015. Obviously I've got a 1 bedroom flat so I should be finished within 6 months but it might be something to check out for those of you with more rooms in your dwellings.
Way to go ROTE, I think I may also be in the black on New Years Day for the first time in a long time also.
We've had no access to any files or email at work since yesterday morning so I may be spending the day catching up on netflix...Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
Sounds like a good day Ruby! I'm stuck at work with nothing to do and hardly anyone is in so I've got no-one to talk to either! Just getting frustrated as I'm the only person on my team in so people keep asking me questions about things I know nothing about because it's things that I haven't been involved in since getting back, just leave me alone! I'm not happy with how things are at the minute anyway and they're just making it worse by making me look like a thicko!
Only got an hour and a half left(ish...might try to escape early!) then I'm off until Monday so that's good!
I assume everyone has a crazy New Year planned?!Zach's going to his Nana and Gramps' for the evening and 2 friends are coming round; we're just going to eat chilli, drink Cuba libres and watch the fireworks on the market square at midnight, will probably be in bed by 12.30!

Hey Everyone!
Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. We're just gaining some normality back now, as pretty as all our decorations are, I'm looking forward to them coming down on Thursday!
Can't report behaving too well in the sales myselfGuess who spent Boxing Day hungover and getting annoyed at the Lush site for 4 hours?
:o
Along with the weight loss challenge, my buddy at work and I are taking part in a No-Spend-January. So other than essentials like bills, groceries and fuel. We aren't spending a penny! Don't know if anyone else feels up for that?!
No NY plans here, Birdie! Bar eating has much stuff as possible before January 2nd rolls around, and we're drinking juices and pretending that no.. we don't really want to eat chocolate.0 -
Would never manage a no spend month. I like to take Grace to her classes, out to swim etc, she would go completely insane if we spent the whole month at the park. I don't think I'll ever get under #100 a month on leisure until they leave home!
On a related but unrelated note, the lack of a working pound symbol is really !!!!ing me off now!
We don't really do new years, usually we stay up drinking whiskey and watching Road Wars, it's a bit of a tradition sad as it is, but NIM is working on the 1st so he'll be in bed before midnight, and I really don't see the point in staying up alone.
I've decided to take the debts in a bit of an old school fashion this time. I'm creating a household binder at the moment so I can be more on top of things in general, but there's something very satisfying about a red marker pen that might help focus on the debt too. Plan to draw up the month's budget tomorrow, NIM is working, although I'm out most of the day.... maybe that'll be my exciting new years eve plan.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Will check that blog out Ruby, thanks! I had a good clear out yesterday despite having a slight wine hangover and cleared 51 items either to bin or charity shop. I know its a bit sad to count but doing the ten a day really spurred me on last time so I'm sticking with it!
Cinny our decorations and tree came down todayI feel slightly Scroogy but it was wilting and looking v sorry for itself so the time had come.
I am tempted to join you for the no spend Jan Cinny, although I have a weekend away planned I only have to take some drinks so if I get them out of the grocery budget then it should be ok? We have hired a farmhouse so won't be going out and spending while we are there. I am determined to clear this debt in 2015 as it pretty much stalled last year, although I did pay OH's parents back a reasonable chunk that wasn't included in my total. When I think of how well I did when I first started it seems ridiculous that I can't get this last bit gone. I think weirdly I think it's a 'small' amount compared to my original total so psychologically can convince myself it doesn't really matter, but I would dearly love to be rid of it once and for all.
