i ordered an amazon voucher 25th jan, although its only been a week, the last time i ordered one it was sent special delivery and it arrived the next working day! the confirmation email doesnt give any clues as to how long it would take to be processed, anyone else ordered vouchers lately? how quickly did they turn up?

I too ordered an Amazon voucher the same day (25th Jan) but still haven't received anything. I did, however, get an email last week asking to confirm my postal address (possibly more problems with the new site there, would anyone be surprised?) & it said I'd receive it within 14 days of my confirmation so I'll give them a little longer since they at least acknowledged it.

I also received the same email about the Sendit voucher I'd ordered around the same time which is a little strange as they come via email, unless there's a different type of voucher now with Sendit although I can't find any other kinds on their site.

I'm guessing these are just new site problems that they're still working through as they do seem to have been sorting out the backlog of problems recently.

  • That's the same email I was sent twice (about my vouchers), same date I was sent them too. Just site problems? Or back to their old tricks?
  • Hey I am new to ipoints, well i discovered a really old account I had, I had 500points in it, and recently I have signed up for loads of offers and still have not had any points added! Are they really slow? Also I cant get to see any of my transactions, is this with everybody else too?

Points often don't get awarded for weeks on end and then lots apppear on the same day. They seem to get there in the end so it's really a matter of being patient.
  • ok i was getting worried that it wasnt tracking right :S

Just thought I'd let everyone know that 7 days after receiving exactly the same email as above (but for a Sendit voucher) I have just received the voucher via email. I'm still waiting for an Amazon voucher also, but as that comes by regular post it stands to reason that it'd take a little longer. So things really are looking better!

I have an email from Elke saying something about delays blah blah backlog blah blah but then said they weren't going to sent amazon through the post and now were going to do through email. So I'll see if anything arrives on Monday.

Well that's strange, I've had a few Amazon gift vouchers over the years (not through ipoints) & they've always been physical vouchers. I suppose technically they could just email you the code that's on the voucher so there's no reason the info couldn't be emailed to you.

I didn't even know they did actual e-vouchers & if they're something new/different & they end up being some sort of promotional gift vouchers then that's bad because you have to spend those all in one go, so I hope not.
