Fun poll: If you had to settle for ONLY a bath or ONLY a shower

As much as I never have a bath and always shower, I have opted for a bath. Other members of my family use the bath much more.0

We have two showers and a bath, but the bath is usually full of orchids being soaked and fed, so I just shower.
So far as I remember, the bath is one of those narrow things as well, which just gives the impression one's bum is big.
When we re-do the place, I'm having a nice German steel Bette bath, like we had before. No water meter here!0 -
I like this poll too! I struggled with this, but came up with the final answer: I would prefer a shower if you held a gun to my head. I use the shower MUCH more than a bath, and I sometimes shower twice a day. If I had to wait half an hour for the water to heat, and then had to wait for the bath to fill, and had to use all that ruddy water twice a day; it would drive me nuts. I would of course (like most people,) prefer BOTH, but if I 'did' only have one choice, it would be to have a shower.0

Good poll!
Definitely shower. I redid my bathroom at the beginning of the year and the first thing to go was the bath.
I now have a massive walk in shower with ceiling rain shower and the best water pressure ever.I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

I vote for a bath. Our bathroom is very cold during the winter and I wouldn't survive it.0

Haha it's nice to have a fun poll.
I went for shower: i would of course like both but if i could only have one then a shower as like someone said earlier, it would be hugely inconvenient to keep having to have a bath. It's almost a total two thirds/one third split in favour of shower.

A shower. We never used our bath and took it out at the first opportunity. We put in a top of the range shower and cubicle and its just bliss. That was eight years ago.
I prefer not to wallow in my own dirt in a bath0 -
Only a bath. Having a bath often goes hand in hand with having a place big enough to swing a cat.
You can use the bath for other things, like drying dripping clothes, or washing big tricky items.
You can always fit some pipes over the taps for hair washing.
Yuo can soak in a bath and wash your legs more easily.
Showers are horrid and nasty and small and awkward to use. Nice to have a shower, but nice to have the other benefits of being able to use a bath0 -
We had to have a wet room fitted cos hubby is now disabled, so I managed for 2 year without my bath, bathroom is big so but I now have a roll top fitted and its pure luxury laying there with hot water and soapy bubbles, its so good for aching joints , I do shower daily but love to soak a couple times a week.........
Lifes little luxury to me.......0 -

I go for bath for much the same reason - its far easier to hand wash garments in the bath where you can spread them out than in the kitchen sink.IANAL etc.0
