Fun poll: If you had to settle for ONLY a bath or ONLY a shower

Good poll.
I chose bath as I lived with just a bath for about two years. While showers are quick, they extend the feeling of self cleaning being a chore.0 -
I'm female too, but would definitely choose a shower. But can't stand the tiny standalone units, a big walk-in shower about the size of a full bath would be nice.
I tend to use baths more on holiday, since I'm not paying for the hot water to fill it up. And I have the time spare to have a good ol' soak. :money:0 -
Bath! In this house we have a walk in shower room and no Bath. It's been 3 Years since I have been able to soak in a bath, I miss having a bath and would happily swap the shower room for a bathroom.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

Shower. I just don't fancy 'cleaning' myself in the same bath liquid that has circulated my nether regions and is full of dead skin cells and soap and goodness knows what else. Eww.Mornië utulië0

Shower.
I hadn't had a bath for around 10 years (showered daily!!) until my son was born.
Bath is more convenient for young uns, but they can shower too.0 -
Shower for me. I haven't bathed in years and years. Can't stand baths.
Mum has a shower only too - she has a small 2-bed and when she redesigned the bathroom, she has a large shower instead of a bath as that what she preferred. My eldest two shower, my youngest 3 bath.
Dad and StepM have showers too. They live in Spain and baths don't really exist.
Both sets of grandparents have showers only in their re-designs too. They felt that at their ages, baths were going to be difficult and become a hazard. Nan G had a small bungalow built for her in Dads grounds in Spain so its huge with built in seats for two and everything!
Guess we are definitely a family of showerers!0 -
If you have a bath, stick a rubber shower attachment on the taps.
Men should ensure there are baths, as the lady of the house will like to use it giving us much needed peace and quietStop! Think. Read the small print. Trust nothing and assume that it is your responsibility. That way it rarely goes wrong.
Actively hunting down the person who invented the imaginary tenure, "share freehold"; if you can show me one I will produce my daughter's unicorn0 -
It's not practical to not have a bath in the house whereas you can do without a shower.0

Bath for me, I wouldn't be able to rest and soak my joints in a shower. It's the one thing I miss on holiday (caravan), a shower is ok but does nothing to sooth my joints. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
