I'd go for the bath. It's easy enough to wash your hair using a jug, either over the bath or sink, and I do like a nice long soak with a book.
Showers (unless the cubicle is quite large) make me feel claustrophobic if I touch the sides every time I move. Even though I'm quite small. And I haven't as yet found a waterproof book.

I picked shower although I would really miss a bath a good hot shower can be a good alternative. Its the hair washing that got me and the water meter bill!"You've been reading SOS when it's just your clock reading 5:05 "0 -
A property with only a shower or a bath would be at a significant disadvantage compared to a property with both or a shower/bath combo...0

Shower. No contest. I'm actually having the bath with shower attachment taken out and a nice big walk-in shower put in instead. I've only used the bath once in the last 5+ years as far as I can remember.
Just thinking how much more time and water would get used if I took a bath before work every day and again after taking some exercise!Saving for deposit: Finished! :j

Definitely a bath for me - although DH would say shower
When we moved into our current house we inherited two bathrooms with bath & shower over. These are both in the process of being stripped out and we've already added an ensuite with free-standing bath again with shower over. This will ultimately be classed as *my* bathroom - a place to dim the lights, light a few scented candles and relax with a large glass of wine
The other two bathrooms will become shower rooms - one primarily for guests and the other will be DH's domain........although these are a long way down the line as this is a major project that will take years to complete
In our last two houses we again had a choice of bath or separate shower - I think that whilst DH (and DS) showered on a daily basis, I probably only used the shower a handful of times over the course of about 12 years, opting instead to bathe almost daily - it just feels more soothing and relaxing to meMortgage-free for fourteen years!

I would prefer a bath only!! Cant beat a nice long soak with bubbles (especially with bath bombs from Lush!), a book and some wine!!Slimming World Member - Started 05/02/150

Can't remember the last time I had a bath :eek:
:rotfl:
Shower wins hands down for me every time!! And even on the once-in-a-blue-moon that I do bath, I always feel like I need to shower afterwards!!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
BATH!
Even with a shower, I opt for a bath every morning. My BF's the same. Don't mind a shower so much if it's hot out or I'm absolutely boiling, but I do LOVE the feeling of sitting in a nice hot bath.
Showers are a pain too - far harder to keep clean, I reckon!

O gawd it would be shower, shower only, never a bath only property again.
Frankly having about 40-60 mins pre heat hot water time (no timer attached) then the 10-15 odd mins to run it (slow water) and effort of all that you cannot include it in any morning get up unless you throw in a 2hr extra wake up call.
Thus:
Which means pi55ing around with a plug on the tap hair shower attachment on the wall sink next to the bath (single large bath tap) just to have that clean hair feeling. And more often than not having cool or luke warm water that way; because the day befores hot water got used on the bath the night before0 -
Definitely shower!0
