They will access your PC to check it has enough storage etc to install all their software on to it.
I have just recently finished with them after being with them six months. I got sick of the moving the goal posts, talking carp and going on like we were an elite branch of MI5.
Everything is scripted, and when I say scripted I mean 6 pages of script per call. You can do a 12 hr shift and feel like a robot but get one word wrong and something not read verbatim and you are marked as a fail, three fails and your on a coaching plan.
Their are far too may chiefs and not enough indians in my opinion and every other week you would see another 2 people being made a live desk manager or some other invented status. On an account of 25 people with 11 team leaders it becomes a bit silly.
I also agree with the feeling of isolation. You can ask questions in the live desk but can wait anything up to ten minutes for a reply, which when you have a customer on the phone who you aren't allowed to place on hold can become very difficult. Likewise if someone asks to speak to a manager, you may aswell tell them it will be easier speaking to Marilyn Monroe, as they all seem to disappear.
Booking hours is horrendous, you choose how many you are contracted to and when they are released at the same time every week, its a scramble to get booked in what you want, you usually just have to take what's left, so 'flexible working hours' means you have to be flexible not them!
Positives, the pay is always on time, if not a day early, pay slips come on time. The other workers are friendly and as there is no sales targets etc you don't tend to get the !!!!!y backstabbing vibe. My wage was £7.25ph which was due to rise by .20p hr before I left
Overall would I recommend it......NO!0 -

Depends on how you define 'scam' I imagine.
On the plus side, Sensee Ltd do exist, and they're even on the Financial Services Register as an appointed representative of Aviva Insurance Limited. So they're a legitimate company.
However they do seem rather confused about the location of their registered address, not to mention the purpose of actually having one, and (perhaps most importantly) they do appear to be insolvent to the tune of £1,684,880. Or at least they were last April. So I'm not so sure that I'd want to put myself in the position where they owed me any money.
not sure where you got your info from , but the credit checking company I use say they are low risk.whats the problem with their reg address ? and what do you think the purpose of one is
they have a minus shareholder fund , but that doesn't make them insolventVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0 -

I've worked for Sensee as a Telephone Charity Fundraiser for 5 days and they sacked me...they are a disgrace...I have dyspraxia and suffered throughout my academic and employment career. They were aware of my disabilities and the impact it may have...with coping strategies I always got through my work however these people did not give me a chance! As I failed to deliver as a telephone fundraiser after just five days they got rid of me! How dare they? I have a form of learning disability, I made such an effort with supporter to donate to the charity and they didn't recognise anything but my failure....what happened to Equal Opportunity? It's not my fault I'm a dyspraxic...this is an horrible organisation to work for...their system and procedure is very rigid, they constantly monitor you even when your not talking to a supporter and all they care about is Money and themselves! Sensee and Listen are horrible people to work for....my advice is to look elsewhere!0

Please consider before going to work with Sensee, they are not the worst homeworking company out there but they are certainly not the best by a long shot. Their adverts tout flexibility, believe me there is none, the flexibility will be from you fulfilling your contracted hours at times that suit them. A worker can be doing minimum hours but have these spread all over the week, sometimes even doing just 30 minutes here and there and you have to take what is available or face a warning or dismissal. The pay is minimum wage and there is a lot of time you don't get paid for ie; having to log into your shifts early to read updates/emails etc before your shift starts and there are a lot, on average you would need to be on your shift a minimum of 30 minutes before it starts because of this, add this on to each shift, some that may be only 30 minutes long and throughout the week you will find yourself giving a lot of free time to the company. If you run over the end of your shift because you are on calls still you don't get paid for these, that is a regular occurance, nor are you paid for personal breaks. The set up is really not good, there are too many chiefs as someone else said on here, staff favouritism and not enough support, you will be constantly monitored and scored for quality and schedule adherence, thats fine and to be expected but the rules change often so it's pretty difficult to make your quality targets, if you have a problem or need help you will find yourself very much alone. I knew people that were working 40 hour weeks and I don't know how they did it, because you are literally stuck at your desk taking calls, it's not like you can just go and make yourself a cup of tea or stretch your legs because they monitor and take into account how many personal (unpaid breaks) you take and it affects your schedule adherence therefore your weekly stats, it's very unhealthy. Ok so you are working from home and don't have to commute but you are also using your own resources and on minimum wage, you will not save money. From a homeworking standpoint the only benefit is that you are employed so don't have to bother with taxes yourself and will receive paid holiday pro rata. My advice don't get sucked into how easy they say it is, stick with the commute if you can or keep looking at other self employed opportunities.0
