how do you go about settling a debt , i have lots and feel like im going to be paying my credit cards forever, always get a funny tummy when 0% runs out and I try to get another 0% card, problem is I am running out of cards to apply for now!! :(

Good luck with settling the final debt :p

I know the exact feeling I always getted stressed out when the 0% ends. I've got 3k on card ending next month, I'm hoping to balance transfer again. The balance has gone from Tesco, MBNA, barclaycard, M&S and hopefully back to Barclaycard next month.

I've finally stopped spending on this card and use another card for weekly shops and pay in full every month.

I found this site really helps me feel more positive about tackling my debts. What's really helped me was working through the budget planner and setting up a few current/savings accounts to split all my income into separate pots. I also use an app which keeps track of all my accounts and spends, which helps me see that by keeping to my budget that I will reach my goal in 2 years time. :D

On the money earning front £5 swagbucks to add.
  • Just had another £5 voucher from sw@gbucks credited to my account today, bringing the total for this month up to £44.52. :)

hope i don't sound stupid - but what are 'articles for TB?'
    thank you

Hiya - not stupid at all :) yes it is TextBroker, basically a site where you write articles for money. It was advertised on MSE a few weeks ago so I think they have been fairly inundated with requests recently but definitely worth a shot. When you sign up they will ask you to write a short article so they can assess what 'level' of writing you are at, and this determines how much you are paid and how many articles you can access. It varies week by week which articles are available but worth a try if you enjoy writing :)

I had my money from GTM come in the end (yey!) and have got a half day Friday so I can go and use my £55 eyecare voucher from work. Slowly slowly catchy monkey :)

Has anyone had any experience with the site paidoffers.co.uk as I've just got an email from them and am wondering if it is worth / safe to sign up.

Information on any other survey sites that are good would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • Hi all
It seems like ages since I last updated. I am at £108.37 so far this month. This is mainly eBay with a couple of largely unsuccessful car boots, some surveys and a mystery shop (my first ever!).
All in all not to bad but really need to get more motivation from somewhere.
