Oh i am all pleased today - just sorted out another debt with a settlement figure and so that leaves me with just one to sort
I now have just £1608.31 in debt to clear until i am freeeeeeeee
letter has been sent to them for a settlement so i am really hoping they will accept my offer (though they have been the toughest to deal with so far so am not holding my breath).
I'm really looking forward to being able to focus completely on my savings options and paying off the mortgage early - £20,000 cleared in under 3 years so the mortgage doesn't seem too out of reach nowDebt at Aug 2010 (LBM) £21,908.86, Debt Freeeeee Date 4th Nov 2013 :j:j:j Massive Thanks to the £10 per day thread :A Next goals:Savings £1203.16/£10,000******Mortgage to Zero: £52,579.46 to go

Are you going to start over-paying the mortgage? You should give yourself a wee break for a while and treat yourself once the debt is settled. All the best to you.0 -
Hi all
I'm still lurking around but managed to make £135 last week through ebay!
I just wondered whether you guys work full-time jobs away from your homes? I find it a real struggle to get the surveys, swagbucks etc done - I can't access them at work and by the time I'm home and fed etc it doesn't leave much time to do them. Your totals are really impressive and I just wondered if that's because you spend a lot of time on them or you're just better at it than I am! Trying to work out where's best to focus my efforts0 -

I honestly wouldn't bother with them then. I have a job where I can access them throughout the day, but at home I'd rather use my time for something I KNOW will earn me something. So eBay/mystery shopping/Swagbucks or blogging. If I'd done all of those (lol like that ever happens) and I need something to do, I would focus on surveys.
I've cut back a lot recently on the surveys.I like to make money

I only work 18 hours a week but was also doing a full time college course. I have a almost 4 year old as well which makes things more hectic. I just fit things in where I can. Things might not be so easy after September though, a 4 year old plus a new born and two college courses. Oh well, never one to shy away from a challenge.
its all about finding a balance and finding what works for you.0 -

Thanks Sweetsi have already been overpaying the mortgage and working on building an emergency fund
its been a bit odd knowing my money is being more productive this way than paying off the debts (all been interest free for a long time) but i do really want to get them gone and well by making a settlement today i have saved just under £1200 in repayments - that would take a lot of beating

I am one of the lucky ones who has all day to work on extra money making and have no children either - how those with work and children manage to fit in extra money making is beyond me i have to say - they deserve medals in my view
Despite having all day to work on things i still don't manage to do everything - i see it more as a variety of options and try to focus on a few sites at a time to get to cashing out level. Its good to have several sites at different levels in my opinion so it creates a kind of constant cycle of being able to claim frequentlythats the plan in my head anyway LOL!

I had emails last night to say my new eBay account had been closed too. What am I supposed to do? They wont let me sell on any account and there's no way of 'resolving' issues. Any ideas?
If you had a previous account banned then you were always going to get restricted on any further ones you opened. The ban is for life and they do take a while to track you to a new account, but they get you eventually. Unfortunately you may also find that anyone linked to you will get suspended as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
