I've had a busy day filled the car up with petrol and saved 3.20 thanks to my neighbor giving me her voucher.
Did a few more check ins while i was out shopping used my groupon voucher at M&S so saved myself £5. I've also listed a few items on ebay.0 -
Had a lovely surprise today. Postman left a missed delivery card yesterday and as I wasn't expecting anything I assumed it would be a comp win. :T
It turned out to be over £25 of Bathtime Buddies products which saved me having to buy presents for my niece's 2 children aged 2 & 3 when visiting her newborn twins.
Had a great day. The twins are lovely but I don't envy her with 4 children 3 & under. I think I'll stick with the OH, DSD, DSS, 5 dogs, parrot and 3 chickens :rotfl:
Only adding the £25 I saved on gifts today. Tomorrow I hope to start selling some of my vast collection of books. We buy oaks have a voucher code on FBI & Twitter adding an additional 10% on to your offer.
Chez xThat money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"0 -

Welcome Mrscautious - good luck with your first bootsale I love doing them but haven't done so far this year... tomorrow will be the first... they are very addictive...
Fingers crossed we both do well at our bootsales tomorrow and have lots to report.
Well done everyone lots of great successes...
Thank you, I don't know what my expectations are, I've never been to one as a buyer, that must be rubbish planning xx
I'd love to come away with £60 profit but anything is a bonus.
Good luck to you, hope you have a great time and make lots x0 -
Here's an idea - can't do it myself cos the book isn't in local store of poundland. see poundland thread - in some stores there's a book called cooking with coco. ANyway, i went on amazon and they buy it from you for £3.50 or something like that. And up to end of june you get an additional amazon voucher of £5 if you buy back (can't remember the exact phrase) £10 worth of books. So, spend about £4 and get about £17 back those of you with this book in poundland. ps don't tell anyone, it's a secret - sure i'm not the first to think of it. really like to know if anyone has success with this.
PS Spent loads of my £50 investing in stuff at car boot to sell at market. There were hundreds of stalls - many more sellers than buyers. doing car boot tomorrow somewhere never done it before - first one this year. cross fingers.Aiming to take control of my life:A

If it is the edition in the link below then the trade in value is 25p now. The Amazon trade in prices move very quickly, be very careful buying on the basis of a price you saw earlier.

Back from my first car boot and made £62.50 after fee. Went at 6am and packed up at midday. I said I'd be happy with £60 so that's bang on.
I think my biggest lesson learned is not to take so much stuff, I think I may well have sold more if I'd been able to have the space to display it more thoughtfully. I have seen for myself now how much people want to pay.
I may do another one at some point, we'll see, but right now cash for clothes is calling me I think xx
Hope you've done great haybel190 -
