Not actually made any money today but saved £10 by pre-booking tickets to the Cosford Air Show. Free sunburn too :(

Oh, this made me remember that I need to purchase tickets for Leuchars air show. Available from next month (£25 a ticket ) No early bird prices this year :( but its possibly the last ever one so I don't mind.

its on the 7th of September and I'm due to pop on the 17th. Could be interesting :rotfl:

Had a few emails about items I listed on Gumtree so hopefully a few sales coming my way.

Hello, please can I ask a quick question? Apologies if I'm missing the answer somewhere and obvious!

Can you count in this challenge the cost of freebies, as in the money you would have spent if you'd paid? I was thinking anything from a product sample to a holiday courtesy of relatives/a competition win/a trip provided for a blogger. Also do you include money saved in your totals? I've done a lot of switching around in the last year and have relished the challenge of saving as much money as I can, too late for here I think, but it'd be good to know total savings.

    Have a great week xx

£5.90 cash for clothes with stuff that didn't go at boot sale and sanity tells me shouldn't be attempted again. 24p found in box of old paper work while more decluttering.

    £40 onepoll finally cleared :D

I had emails last night to say my new eBay account had been closed too. What am I supposed to do? They wont let me sell on any account and there's no way of 'resolving' issues. Any ideas?

    Happy Monday everyone :)

Not a lot to report, £5 from MySurv on its way, still no show from GTM paypal £25 but should be in end of this week. Wrote a load of articles for TB over the weekend so should be in for about £30 this week, and just had my £55 glasses voucher posted to me at work :D cheapest glasses at the opticians are £59 so that is a MASSIVE help.

Just completed another PC but that will go with the other vouchers, all adding up as I now have £12 when these come through, won't add them til I spend but may save it for a girly day and have lots of pizza and nibbles from Tesc.

    Good luck all :)

    Hi everyone,

Yard sale was a massive hit, despite someone returning a set of drawers for a £10 refund. We made £61.10 in the end, splitting 3 (well 4) ways, so £20 for me, £20 for bf, £20 for joint account and £1.10 into the change jars for Florida.

Managed to list a handful of things on eBay - no free listing for me so I just stuck them all on 99p so I can get my seller rating up. I've also had some FB left so hopefully it'll be up next month.

And finally, I had a phone call about an hour ago from my boyfriend. IT SEEMS HE ONLY WENT AND GOT HIMSELF A JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure when he's starting, he'll be ringing them soon to discuss his start date. It's night shift work at a supermarket, so 10% discount in 6 months. The pay is great due to being night shift work. I can deal with never seeing him and having £££ instead :p
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

Maybe ring them and ask how you are supposed to resolve the problem?? not sure of anything else - presumably the account you have been using is showing a good service etc - i would highlight that when you ring :) worth a try anyway xx
