:hello: and welcome to all newbies and regulars.

This is the 70th month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007 Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose and MizMir for keeping the thread going.

I know this first post is long, but please read as it give tips on how this challenge works.

If you're new to the challenge don't be scared - here's how it works:

The aim of this challenge is to make £10 extra a day everyday for the month. A lot of people think this is impossible but it can and has been done (and in some cases some show offs have even doubled or tripled the monthly challenge).

If you feel £10 is too much why not start at £5 or if you're brave join those who aim for £20 a day! Anything extra you make is great so set whatever target you think you can manage.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

What cannot be added: wages from your main job
What can be added: overtime at work, income from a 2nd job, daily clicks, interest, vouchers, mystery shopping...the list is endless.

    Hey,

I seen that work O/T counts towards this, so if I did 1 or 2 O/T shifts per week to make up the equivelent of £10 per day does that count?

I'm in again. June is an expensive month for me (birthdays) so I'll stick with £5 a day for now.

Definitely £10 for me - I've decided to be 'sensible' after looking into my debt and realising that I could be debt free by Jan 2015, and instead of saving for my iPad, I'm saving to pay my car insurance in one go. Need to get about £250 in savings for end of July.....

Good luck everyone :) and thank you Aesop for continuing :D

Hi Aesop and everyone else :)

I must be mad (I have a busy June/July ahead of me), but I would like to join in at £10 a day please.

I'm self-employed, so will count anything I earn above my daily earnings target (which for June is £45). OH and I are moving in July, so we need all the money we can get!

Thank you for starting the thread Aesop :A
