I went into my online bank account and added one or two small overpayments to come out on payday - just £20 here and there. I am also committed to paying off 10% of DH Amex credit card every month as he had to buy something for me last month.

Off to bed soon. A good day today, not as rainy as yesterday but still quite cool.
We eventually went out around 4.30 and took the children to the park on their bikes. Youngest DD (age 6) finally managed to ride her bike on her own - without stabilisers. She was so proud, and I am proud of her as well.
We'll do a bit more tomorrow and all being well we can go out on Friday (hopefully better weather) on our bikes and take a bit of a picnic.
I didn't spend any money today and didn't knock back any of the red stuff so quite a good money saving day :money:

Just checking in and hoping for a MSE weekend, as much as is possible with a steam and country show down the road which we plan to attend tomorrow.
I'm taking a picnic for the children so we don't get pestered for hot dog, burgers and the like but no doubt will treat them to bouncy castles and roundabouts.
I'm not sure about the rest of the cooking, I have 500gm stewing steak so should be able to make something out of that, I have some flaky pastry so could make a pie. I have loads of eggs this week so could make a quiche as well.
We went for a long bike ride today, that seemed to wear them all out!
Another day off the wine so another +/-£8 "saved"
