Yeah, starts about 1 1/2 inches above the elbow then curves round the funny bone - to miss a vital nerve - then extends down the back of the forearm. Because there is not much in the way of flesh round the funny bone you can feel the plate ever so slightly and definitely feel where it ends :D
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

I love heights :D Been up the top of the Empire State Building and could see 20 miles :D Went up the top of the CN Tower when we were in Toronto (1,465 feet) but it was a bit misty then :D Funny thing is I won't go up a 9 metre ladder :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It was very windy the day me and my pal went up. Security said we could have a quick look as they were about to shut it down for safety reasons :A

Went to Tosco earlier looking for some bargains and to use some cond spends. Managed to find a few of the reduced toiletries and got a good woopsie haul ..........................................

but had an absolute nightmare with one of those pre loaded visa gift card things :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

SA couldn't get it to work, supervisor came and same for her, was taken to cs as long queue with customers doing daggers:(:(:(

was at cs for over an hour while evry (well seemed like it:cool:) member of staff tried with it, rang customer services and I checked online on my mobile that it was indeed loaded:o:o:o

Turns out that tills reject the cards if used in part payment towards a higher amount.:mad::mad:

It was only when I suggested me paying some cash to reduce total bill to amount of gift card that it actually worked:j:T:j

Anybody else had problems with the cards?

Only managed Eiffel Tower once, about 25 years ago. Took the kids out to Paris once about 15 years ago and was looking forward to going up again, was a lovely sunny day, but DS threw a wobbly on the second stage and would go no higher, I was stuck with him and his panic made me feel funny so could not go up after and leave OH with him :(

Went to Frankfurt at the weekend and there was the festival on, there was one guy at the top of a long pole, at least 100 ft, and he was doing handstands and all sorts, pole was waving around all over the place  Now I definitely could NOT do that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
