What this lady said! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Very helpful and detailed.
I can't help you with the chemistry bit, but from my school cookery lessons at the dawn of time (when kids were still taught to cook instead of designing food packaging) I can tell you you don't need scales for baking. A rounded tablespoon of flour or sugar is about one ounce (c 28g) and you can work out butter by drawing lines on the block to divvy it up.
God I'm old.
(But gorgeous!)
It's funny lutzi but I always see you as gorgeous too.

DH did cook dinner this evening though, which was lovely. He shopped in Waity as it's on his way home from work and reported that they had loads of whoopsied items. When I asked him what, all he could remember was profiteroles and cheesecake
PS found a box of Dairy Box under the stairs from Christmas glitch, so pigging out on those now.AKA; Mad, MM, MM5, Madicles  ©

As sad as I am, I took pics of mine from about 10 mins after the accident, x-rays, all the way to removing the sticky plaster they put over the wound. That revealed a lovely 8 inch scar.

Drives me crazy when I see teachers setting up the cooking with the TA and then all the children actually do is stir the mixture. I used to love it in the infants when we baked, I would put a load of tables together and the children would take turns in groups to weigh out, mix, roll and knead. Yes they made a mess but I always cleaned up before the cleaner/caretaker came in0 -
i did not think we would close a 550 gap within 1 day. pat yourselves on the back elite.
