Congratulations to your DS TM. :T
We are gently pushing DD1 out of our nest, to start her own. She has not had start date for new job yet but is very happy with the flat in Dorking. If all goes well I will get to see it this weekend if no more broken bones. Van hired to take beds from mum's house, every cloud silver lining I guess.
I don't know if normal but don't feel sad at all, I feel at 22 it is time for her to go. I feel I have done my bit. And I will have a complete 4+2 chest of drawers to fill and finally get all of DD3s clothes hung in a wardrobe.
I think you are right TS. It feels right to let them go and exciting to see them moving on. Plus we are getting used to having the space around the house....which stays tidier by the way:D
And yes...please no more broken bones for you. What a week you've had:oTo do is to be. Rousseau

Edit - prices have increased now
Actually, Argos seems to have some good prices on their kids clothing, some 70% off like the emma bunton dresses should be £17.99 and now £3.99

Thank you so much for all the birthday wishes. My celebrations were mostly done on Saturday, when I went shopping in London and had a delicious cream tea in House of Fraser. DH did cook dinner this evening though, which was lovely. He shopped in Waity as it's on his way home from work and reported that they had loads of whoopsied items. When I asked him what, all he could remember was profiteroles and cheesecake
PS found a box of Dairy Box under the stairs from Christmas glitch, so pigging out on those now.0 -
