You can keep the RHCP - 1st it's Grohl, then MM, then wait for it - Terry Crews from Everybody hates Chris (the dad) - what a mix!!!

Have seen Foo fighters just once, rhcp twice- yum yum
I was watching Everybody Loves Chris tonight before I came on here, and I was thinking the same thing about the Dad- hopw he was nice looking in a wierd way.
Not my usual type.
Annie- could you get fortified orange juice, use more eggs in cooking, give him more fish and dairy stuff to up his vitamin D?
Of course he might just be made that way, but does he admit he feels wierd at times and just doesn't know why? I waited until summer before I talked to DH about his- he is worse in winter, like a kind of SAD, so we both agreed vit D would help us both.Calcium helps absorption of it,too, iirc.
How is he on the CM front now?Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I think you did exactly the right thing. Maybe if your moody dh suggests otherwise again you could turn this situation on its head and put the following scenario to him (please don't read this if you might get upset as I am delibaratley being horrific... it is meant to shock your dh into an alternative way of thinking). You could ask him:
How would you feel if the first we knew about the fact that our cm was taking our ds out in the car without strapping him in properly was when we had to identify his body in the morgue after she crashed the car. At the inquest it came out that a previous employer (Mrs X) of said cm had removed their child from her care when Mrs X found out that children were not being properly restrained. However, Mrs X didn't think it was any of her business to protect our son so left him in danger but it's OK because her child is still safe and well!“A journey is best measured in friends, not in miles.”

Quick update: Went to see another CM today - she was really lovely.
I asked lots of questions, and her house/garden was really nice and child friendly. She had a lovely daughter too, which I think reflects on her a lot, as she's brought her up:)
I'm seeing another one tomorrow, but I think I ay have already found what I'm looking for:)0 -

Well I went to see this other CM today, just to be polit really as I'd arranged to do this last week. I'd already chosen the previous CM in my mind, but I'm glad we went.
She was lovely:j:j:j
As soon as we walked through the front door (which had a baby gate in front of it) she came up to BabyH and said hello to him, and took his coat off. My girls already know (and like her) her as she volunteers in their school. She runs the gardening club and won first prize in the Gosport in bloom competition.
BabyH seemed much more at ease there, and played Barbies (yes - he's a boy:rolleyes:)with the little girl who she was looking after. She showed me all her certificates without being asked and references. She was a really cuddly loving mummy type of lady who obviously loves kids (she has 5 of her own).
When it was time to go CM blew BabyH a kiss and he ran up and gave her a kiss and cuddle.
I chose her:)0 -

So pleased for you. Looks like you have chosen a good one.
As she seems the friendly type make sure you ask her any questions you need to before you become god friends - hope I don't sound awful saying that.
I often prompt the parents every couple of months saying "Is everything going as it should" - and say "Don't forget to ask if there is anything you need to speak to me about" (for example, I gave a child an ice lolly on a VERY hot day along with the other children - she only eats organic food but parents had not brought supplies for a while so I gave her one of mine which wasn't organic - I told the parent and I wasn't QUITE sure if he was happy - so I write a little message on the envelope of the monthly invoice as I know the parent is a bit shy and may want to say something but feel better writing a friendly note back).
References are good - and the fact that she helps at the school (only people who love kids would do that for free lol). All credit cards paid off.
