Oh there's a couple of great stories here!

I didn't really have a problem with it, I don't think they are perves, it just struck me as a bit, um, surprising. Which it seems it is for most of us. (The thought of my Dad seeing me naked now - urk!)

I think he's just a bit of a mummy's boy to be honest with you, talks to her about all sorts of things (like our disagreements but so far he reports back that she's always taken my side and tells him off, ha) that I would consider more private, goes down to stay when he's off shift to get spoilt with home made cakes and stuff. Nothing major and considering the awful relationship some people have with their parents, I'm not knocking it. Better to be close than not.

If I stay there again I think I'll lock myself in the bathroom to get dressed in the morning, just to be on the safe side, lol.
Haha, you should. Sure he'll understand your surprise at this, most folk would find it weird but good for you for seeing `past it`, his ideas not his dangly bits lol. Just keep an eye on the overprotective mother, she might be a problem later, just saying....:rotfl:

My mum !!!!ed me off when I was giving birth. I wasn't actually planning on having her in the delivery room to begin with but she guilt tripped me into it and then interfered with everything.

The bit that !!!!ed me off though is she had actually sneaked her camera in and took pictures the entire time, mind this was back in 1998 so people were still using film cameras, I didn't actually see the pictures for about 3 weeks but in the meantime she had showed them to all of her friends and it was only after I went round that I found out that in more than one of the pics, my chocha is actually RIGHT THERE in the picture as my son is coming out of it and not only that, but it was my dad that pointed it out to my mum that she might want to get some paper and cover that bit of the photos up.

I could have died a thousand deaths, this is the same woman that had 6 kids yet never breastfed any of us so she went out of her way to sabotage mine and would actually make me go into another room to do it when I was at hers despite the fact I used a shawl, and here she is showing all of her besties my fandango!

WHAAAAAAT?! Christ that's made my insides go cold. I would have absolutely killed anyone who thought it was okay to take photos at such an intimate time let alone SHOW PEOPLE.

And I thought it was bad when she showed photos of me at my wedding to random patients of hers :p

Nothing odd at all, at least not to me-I'll happily talk to either of my parents when they're on the loo, they'll come in to use the loo if I'm in the bath. No biggie, its just a body, we all have them....
Please excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!

Wee, poo, period (in my case, Mum is post menopause now). We all do it, I don't see the problem at all.

I have to say, I wouldn't plan to be in the bathroom with my husband (or any one else) when either was deficating!

But, widdling is not so uncommon. I shared a house with one bathroom at university, and it felt like someone was always in that bath. We got used to widdling in front of each other in the bath.

I don't actually see anything to suggest she's an 'over protective mother' - they just don't appear to have the hang-ups a lot of people appear to have. Me, I don't openly swing my naked baps around the house but have no problem with someone seeing me naked (as long as it's not random someones)

Myself and my two boys (8 and 4) wonder around in the nip on a regular basis. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as I'm not giving the neighbours an eyeful. My wife however, doesn't like anyone seeing her naked (including me half the time) so she thinks we're all mental.

I'll often be in the shower and have both my boys standing in the bathroom with me talking about random rubbish (usually to do with how many girlfriends my eldest has). I don't care who sees me naked really. I've stripped off in public before, although to be fair I was slightly drunk at the time.

I can imagine a time in the not-too-distant future when the eldest starts covering up, although at the moment he doesn't care. I don't think the human body is anything to be ashamed of. Some of us are just far less embarrassed about it than others.

My parents were really old-fashioned in regard to nakedness. I think I saw my dad naked maybe once in the entire time he was alive and that was to take him a towel into the bathroom as he'd forgotten one. He didn't look anything other than ashamed that he'd had to ask me to do it. Like I cared!

The OP was suggesting he was a bit of a mummy's boy hence my comment- tongue and cheek.

Sorry but all this talk of naked bodies in all kinds of situations is actually making me laugh. Each to their own though, good for you but you're being one sided if you think most of the population have hangups cos they either don't want someone watching and dare I say it, smelling what's coming out their body or they would rather their geriatric mother didn't see them exposed.

Maybe you don't mind but perhaps the person seeing it might.

I kinda see this differently, how would you feel staying at your mum's place and her walking in when she felt like it and seeing your meat and two veg?
