Still need to get weighed. :o
Had grilled chicken for dinner tonight with roast peppers onions and tomatoes and asparagus fried in butter.
...then later I had strawberries raspberries meringue and cream :o
But in my defence I hadn't eaten much all day.
I did see on sky that they have a channel where people do exercise workouts (can't remember the name of the channel offhand).
I am thinking of trying to do the workouts (or part of until I'm fit enough to do the whole work out). Will let you know how I get on. :)

How about not weighing yourself and just going by if your clothes are looser ... The weighing scale doesn't tell the full story really anyway

Sounds like a nice dinner :)

It was lovely-my DD1 cooked for me. :)
Re weighing-yes I could go by my clothes being looser. -my DD1 is quite obsessive about weighing herself twice every day.

Not really-there's no chance she'll starve herself. Lol

Made home made soup and plan on having a wee 5:2 week this week to see if it will help me get back on the ball with eating

Sorry, what a 5:2 week please?
I have been eating fairly healthily but not today, had a fried egg sandwich a couple of hours ago.
I have just got measured and have a 30 inch waist-not sure if that's good or bad.

5:2 is a kinda different way of eating, i only do it when i am nights as i cant really eat when i am nights so i am kinda cheating :)

its basically where you eat normally for 5 days out of 7 but for the other 2 you restrict your intake to a very low amount ... if calorie coulnting then roughly 500 cals per 24 hour period, other people do it in a way where they eat normally for 8 hours a day but nothing after the 8 ... different ways work for different people tbh
  • Sorry, El. Just had a weekend of epic proportions. Started on Weds with a rehearsal that went on, and on, and on...and degenerated into a general sit, talk, drink booze and have a great time. Sent the last person home at ten to nine because he had work to go to. Then vegetated all Thursday, until Friday night, when there was a gig and a lock in. Then another rehearsal Saturday afternoon, which ended with a few  drinks and then off out for an amazing concert in Kentish Town (but mosh pit action counts as cardio), then a friend who went stayed the night. Then out again in the afternoon for a festival, then gigging in the evening, then the afterparty......

I didn't do much yesterday and I didn't sleep at all last night because my body clock is screwed.

Throughout the looooong weekend of awesome, I've really not been eating much, and getting the majority of my calories from drinks, soft and not so soft (vodka/diet Coke is a good combination - followed by lucozade and a bacon sarnie in the aftermath :))

But today, I've been to aquazumba and did half an hour of swimming to warm up beforehand. Really worked hard in the pool - my legs were wobbly when I came out the gym - got home and inhaled 600 calories of prawn salad and a beer. Going to treat myself to some mashed potato to take me up to a reasonable calorie goal for the day now [gets salt ready].

And then I'm off to bed :A
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.
