100 weeks to turn my health situation around

Hi Steve-o, I have a dog, but as shes now 13, she walks at 0 miles per hour, sniffs at everything, and we usually only manage to get to the end of the street before she turns for home.
Its rather sad really, shes mostly Alsation, and we used to go for an hours walk in the hills every day, I think that this is something to do with me having put on so much weight.
But I love her dearly, so will need to work on other exercise options(see above), and as this is the 100 week challenge, Im afraid that she probably wont still be with us at the end.

hey everyone, hope you all slept well
exercise is very important, sadly i didnt get a chance to do any last night, as just after the house work the son phoned and the outcome of that had to be dealt with.
Now last night the home made chicken burgers obviously were not enough to fill me as i ate a packet of crisps and some dates after, woke up this morning feeling really hungry, now that isnt something i have felt for such a long time as i have been low carbing, i didn't even recognise it at first, i woke up, went to the kitchen and stood thinking what am i feeling, what do i want for breakfast, made my porridge with fibre, dates etc, then it suddenly dawned on me that i was feeling hunger, so lunch is going to be omlette with chicken tikka, onion garlic and avacado
i think i need to go lower on my carbs for a wee while to get back on track0 -
so how about we work on exercise for the next few weeks?
will weigh myself and measure myself shortly so that i have a starting point0 -
OMG, I decided that if I was going to be serious about this I had to weigh myself, ive been putting off all year...
Oh dear, now I know why Ive been putting it off, I weigh more than my 17 yr old son:eek:
Soooo execise will have to start happening, just not today as I am taking DD out later. But with all your help I will achieve, I will, I will , I will gulp...
elmer0 -
We certainly will elmer :-)
I too weighed myself yesterday I weigh 14 stone 4 pounds, I also measured myself but forgot the sizes will add them at a later date.
Went for a 4-5k walk last night, shorter than normal but we didn't have the time, I also didn't eat good, but today I am doing a 14.5 hour shift ( so sadly no exercise
) so I have had to be organised which I think will help
Onwards and upwards0 -

Not done any exercise as such.
Need to weigh myself too.
I have had a cup of tea, a cup of coffee and a glass of fresh orange juice today.
Bought chicken last night-chicken and salad for tea tonight.
Working later so will be very active.
Will endeavour to walk to shop instead of using car-I always drive and it's only because I'm too lazy most of the time.
it's literally 5 minutes walk.
Found some more stuff to put on eb@y.

Im v impressed with the walking, 4-5 k sounds brill, I wont manage anything today as just back from hospital with dd, two hours there, 15 minutes to see consultant (on time thank god) and two hours back, a stop at McDs for a treat for her but not me, and now a healthy tea.
I saw my bike in the garage yesterday, so tomorrows goal is to remove it from the garage, and go round the block on it to see if it (and me)still works
Keep calm!! and carry on the good work

Hope DD is ok elmer :-)
Getting the bike out is a good start ... Just wear padded trousers lol ... I find my ehhh " saddle" gets sore ... Obviously that could just be my fat though lol
Let us know how u go0 -
Well I failed miserably in the exercise score again....
In my defence, they closed the snow gates up here today, and although it didnt snow where I am it was flipping freezing and rather windy, so thats my excuse (rather lame I know)
Im now aiming for the weekend:rotfl:
However on the diet front , I have been excellent even if I say so myself, so I guess one out of 2 aint bad.
Thanks for asking about DD, shes fine now, it was a follow up to recent surgery, but she was discharged yesterday so we wont need to go back.
Keep up the good work

Not done any actual exercise today....
I have been very busy sorting out pantry and cupboards-does that count for anything? Pretty please ? LolGE 36 *MFD may 2043
