OK, so a lighthearted thread, prompted by the fact that my fridge has had its weekly clean tonight. So, what's in your fridge? In mine, I have:
Yoghurts
Sliced roast beef
Cheap ham (my youngest swears it tastes better than decent ham)
Decent ham, thickly sliced
Grapefruit
Apples
Pears
Melon
Plums
Oranges
Cabbage
Green beans
Profiteroles
Eggs
Primula cheese (I must remember to get grated cheese out of freezer)
Cadbury's caramel egg
Babybel cheeses
Lemon curd
Pork and caramelised onion sausages from Tesco
Flora (butter is in a dish on top of the fridge, but kids like Flora)
Tomatoes that must be eaten tomorrow!
A homemade dish of Mediterranean roasted vegetables
Semi-skimmed milk
Brita jug of filtered water
It's a tall fridge, which is just as well considering how much stuff is in there!
I've got to lift bacon out of the freezer, as well as the cheese. I've also got to sort out my food cupboards as they are in a right mess.
How about your fridge? Any goodies in there?

At the moment, mainly stuff that's past its prime that I'm hoping will go off before I have to think how to turn it into leftovers.
And beer.
(Impressed by the weekly clean, btw. Mine's a lot less than that, although the intention is always there.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I get fresh fruit and veg every Wednesday, and if the frudge doesn't get cleaned ouot it just gets shoved to the back and rots, so a weekly clean is necessary. TBH, it isn't always on the same day, so can go ten days sometimes
There isn't much veg in the fridge because I try to steam and freeze everything soon after getting it. My daughter works shifts, so everything is frozen in portions. that way, when she gets in from a late shift, she can just microwave something decent.
Oh, and I forgot to add mushrooms to the list0 -

Very little at the moment. The dreaded weekly shop is due tomorrow, joy! My favourite chef Nigel Slater would struggle to turn my leftovers in the fridge into one of his amazing recipes. How does he have stuff left by the end of the week that he can transform into such great dishes? I want to know that mans secretThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0

Some Linda McCartney vegan sausages and some vegan sausage rolls, some frozen spinach, a bag of oven chips, some soya milk, some potato croquettes and various bits of assorted crap thats probably past its use by date and will be fed to the birds. 2 bean burgers that I bought from iceland, ate two, hated them, they are definitely going to the birds.
I dont eat a lot of stuff from packets but the Linda McCartney stuff was on offer so I bought some of it.
If you asked me what was in my (approved food) cupboard Id be here for a week listing it all.0 -
